When Hunter and Julia came home that evening they were looking around for Nicole.
"Nicole?!" They both yelled, looking for her.
Hunter went to his room and saw a note, he read it. "Julia come here!"
"What is it?" Julia asked, walking in the room.
"She left a note." He says.

Dear Hunter and Julia,
I'm going to meet the killer of my parents... I don't know if I will come back. I will definitely try. Anyway I wanted to say thank you for everything...

"Does that mean she might..." Julia started.
"Let's go." Hunter says.

"Hey! Where are you?!" Nicole says in the alleyway, looking around.
"Well it seems you finally showed up." A guy says. Nicole's eyes widened.
'No way... That voice... It couldn't be...' She thought.
"What's wrong?" He smirked, standing right in front of her.
"Vance..." She whispered.
"Yes..." His voice sounded cold.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked.
He chuckled. "You think you're special." He says, avoiding the question.
"No... I don't..." She says.
"You're right, you aren't." He says grabbing the bracelet off her wrist.
"H-Hey wait-" She got cut off.
"This bracelet is your mother's, I just made a few modifications." He smirked.
"M-Modifications?" Nicole mumbled.
"After you got into your coma you left your bracelet behind. I turned it into a tracker and made it harm anyone that wasn't you or me." He says.
"B-But you got-" Nicole mutters.
"I was acting. You idiot." Vance says.
"Wait... You said something about after I got into the coma. That happened ten years ago..." She says.
"Because 8 years ago I got into a coma myself." He says.
"W-What... Why? How?" She says.
"Because I was your best friend." He says.
