First Chances

In New Domino City, things were going very smoothly. Yusei Fudo, the number one ranked Turbo Duelist in the city, was feeling very confident that life would be going on in his favor. He had faced the Dark Signers and Illiaster with the help of his good friends and there haven't been any evil occurrences since. On one particular day, Yusei felt he was obliged to ask a certain person something he should have asked a long time ago. He decided to summon up the courage to ask Akiza to go on a date with him. Little did he realize that at her house, Akiza was thinking the exact same thing as if their minds were connected. When Yusei drove to Akiza's mansion, he was on his red Duel Runner in a tuxedo that his friend Jack Atlas had lent to him. Soon Akiza stepped out of the mansion and for Yusei, it was as if a goddess herself descended from the heavens to be with him. Yusei was the first to say something, "Akiza you are looking very divine!" The psychic duelist responded, "Thanks Yusei. And you're very charming yourself." Soon Akiza had gotten out her own personal Duel Runner and the two rode off into the night sky for a fun time.
Soon they arrived at a joint that was fancy but affordable. Yusei's close friend Leo, who was now 16, had advised Yusei to check it out. Yusei and Akiza walked in and noticed that it was pretty impressive in construction. Duelists were gathering around the bar like cowboys in the Old West. And like gunslingers, at the drop of a hat, a duel could begin at any moment. The couple reserved a table in the back and ordered the fanciest hamburger possible. Yusei was the first to ask, "So how's Duel Academy been?" Akiza was calm in tone as she replied, "Much better then when I first went to the place. I've become famous for helping save the world so much that the Chancellor want to promote me to lead the Duelist Team that will be competing with North Academy in the Duelist Olympics this summer." Yusei beamed and the rest of their date would be uneventful until after they drove to the very same spot in New Domino where they first met.
