Turn of Events

The big day of the tournament arrived, but unexpectedly a few complications arrived. Due to a massive rainstorm, the event was postponed until the weather cleared up. This was good news for Akiza who felt like she was almost ready to have her baby. She called the doctor who gave her a huge surprise; turns out she was actually carrying twins. This made her even more joyful and excited. Once her water broke, Akiza didn't panic. She called Yusei who phoned the hospital and contacted Jack and Carly for support. Akiza's parents were even there to witness the whole thing. "All right, Miss Izinski you're doing fine." The Doctor was there making sure everything was under control. "You're almost there. And here comes the first baby." Soon the room echoed with the sound of infant cries. "Congratulations, Miss Izinski. It's a beautiful baby girl." "Oh my gosh. She's so perfect." Akiza's mother gasped. Carly got out her professional camera and snapped a pic for the front page of the newspaper she worked at. Akiza then asked Yusei, "What should we name her?" "I think her name should be... Courtney." "Beautiful! It's perfect." Yusei then picked up his new child and rocked her gently. Suddenly, Akiza felt a sharp pain in her chest as she went through the process one more time. A few minutes later, the other baby was born. Also female, she had a faint birth mark on her left cheek while Courtney had it on her forehead. "What do you think honey?" Yusei asked. "What should this one be named?" As Akiza rocked her second daughter and let her feel near her heart, she gently replied, "This one will be Kimberly." And from then on, New Domino City was never the same.
