Wedding Dream Come True

The two months passed by quickly and eventually Yusei and Akiza were there at the nearby New Domino City First Church for the wedding they wanted to have. Yusei had taken the liberty of designing his own tuxedo with a red rose in the shirt pocket, with a little help from Jack. Akiza, meanwhile, had a pure white dress thanks to Carly's impeccable sewing skills. The wedding was scheduled for 6:30 AM just as the sun was rising. All of New Domino City had pitched in for this joyous event; some civilians donated funds for the two lovers to be able to purchase the items they need, and a house in the elite residential area, not far from the mansion Leo and Luna lived at. Eventually, both Yusei and Akiza had arrived at the church with the priest overlooking the couple. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of two of our city's greatest heroes in holy marriage. If there be anyone present who can show cause why this couple should not be married, let him speak now or forever hold his peace." Fortunately, no one opposed so the priest continued, "Akiza Izinski, do you take Yusei Fudo as your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold, to stay by his side through both good and bad times and to give unending support till death do you part?" Akiza gave a cute smile and simply replied, "I do." "And do you, Yusei Fudo, take Akiza Ishinzki as your lawfully wedded wife to have and to hold, to protect from danger of all variety and never abandon to the very end of days?" Yusei was calm and collected as he answered, "I do." "Then by the power vested in me, I pronounce this couple husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." And as the two duelists united, the rows behind cheered in happiness as the bells in the altar rang out. As their first dance was prepared, Yusei performed a particular song that touched Akiza's heart. (See song above for reference.) Jack, with Carly leaning on his shoulder, gave Yusei the thumbs up as if saying "Congrats!" The celebration last all day, including events such as a special exhibition Turbo Duel where Yusei and Akiza went up against Leo and Luna. Although Akiza lost to Luna, Yusei won against Leo so it was an honorable tie. When all was said and done, the new married couple hopped on their respective duel runner and rode off to check out the new home they acquired.
