Jarrod's POV
Well, this school sure is interesting. My girl's fight with Jasmine was kind of pathetic, but good for Shaylene to defend me. As soon as she rushed off to the bathroom and her ugly mother followed her, I knew she was in trouble. Quickly, my sharp mind racing, I figured out a way to rescue my love.
As I ran through the halls, flexing my muscles so the chicks noticed, I saw the principal's office out of the corner of my eye. Ah ha! I could go on the loudspeaker and announce lockdown. Then, when everyone was hiding, I could go into the bathroom and save my Shaylene.
I quickly ducked inside the office and picked up a microphone labeled as "Loudspeaker."
"LOCKDOWN. LOCKDOWN. Please everyone lockdown!"
My dashing deed done, I ran to the bathroom to rescue Shaylene. I hurried in and saw her lying unconscious on the floor. Wow, even after crying, she was hot. I definitely made the right choice in dating her. Way hotter than Kaytlyn.
I leaned down and gently kissed her on the lips. Her eyes fluttered open and she gazed into my soul.
"Oh, Jarrod! I love you so much, I knew you'd save me from my horror of a mother!"
"Yeah, she's pretty ugly, love. Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"
"My head really hurts. Can you get me out of here before my mother comes back? I don't think I can live with her!"
"Of course, darling! We can go to my house. No one will be there."
I winked at her, and since no one can resist my charm, she melted into my arms. I scooped her up and turned to carry her out of the bathroom. And then I almost ran into that loser, Josh Dorado, or whatever his name is.
