Cyril POV:

After the movie ended, Loki left me to my own devices. Long story short, it's late, and I'm getting ready for another trip to Midgard. I was still dressed up in day clothes, and worried over the possibility of being spotted by agents. Swapping out my green jacket for a dark red hoodie, I was satisfied. Slicing open the portal, I stepped through and landed outside the trailer. Popping a stick of mint gum in my mouth, I strode forward and passed through the door. Jane was lying in the bed area, and was pouring over her notebook. I had taken the liberty of noticing her van parked out front, so I deduced that it hadn't been commandeered yet. My poster had also been taken down, and was now tacked up in the little bed area. "Yo! Miss Foster!" I softly called out from my place at the doorway, bringing a hand up to my mouth to amplify the noise. She must've jumped almost a foot in her bed! "You! H-How did you get in here! The door's locked, and I didn't even hear it open. Oh god, Darcy didn't give you a key, did she?" Jane rambled, and I barked out a laugh. "Ah, no. Sadly, I haven't taken the time to get to know Darcy, but I would like to. And to answer your question on how I got in, the answer's simple. I teleported, apparated, whichever word you would like to use," I said, shrugging my shoulders while offering a cocky grin. "Teleporting...No, that's not possible. You don't look like you used machinery, or anything, for that matter! How did you do it?!" Jane questioned, and I began to die inside. Shit, I don't even know how I do it! I've really fucked myself over this time. "I, uh, don't know. It just happens when I want it to, I guess. Imagine the place and concentrate. Though the more I do it, the less I have to concentrate," I figured uneasily. "Great. Now I have to apologize to Darcy," Jane sighed, "Okay, so what is it you need? No offense, but I honestly don't think you're here just to chat about the weather," she accused, and I chuckled. "Right you are, smarty pants! I'm just here to check in on you and your science stuff. To be honest, I have no fucking idea what the shit you guys do is called, but it's fairly interesting, and I've got a feeling it can give me a few advantages and maybe help with this mess I've been tossed into," I revealed, clenching my left fist. "Although, I have to admit I'm having a lot of fun. Another dimension hop, and on top of that, I've traveled to two realms multiple times in one day! But I've done it a lot, so it's slightly less cool," I blabbered, while Jane tried to make sense of my ramblings. "Slow down. You're saying that you can travel through dimensions and between realms? How is that possible? Wait a minute, do you have anything to do with those bizarre readings about a week ago?" She said suspiciously, slipping off the cot. Stepping back nervously, I held my up my hands, palms facing outward. "I didn't have anything to do with that, I swear," I defended myself. "Although I DO know who did it," I mumbled as she got closer. "You know who what?" Jane chided, and I glared. "I know who cast him into this realm, alright!? It doesn't take a genius to figure it out! You could probably worm the answer out of him yourself, if you try hard enough. That or just ASK for fucks sake," Squinting at me, Jane took another step forward. "I KNEW Thor was super involved in this!" A voice exclaimed from a few feet away, by the door. Jane and I jumped, watching the figure in the door with wide eyes. Darcy stood in the trailer, and shut the door behind her. She was holding an ice cream cone, and a bag of what seemed to be boxes of ice cream. "Can I have one of those?" I asked, pointing at the bag. "They don't have Ice Cream in Asgard," I said with a shudder. "Really? That's awful!" Darcy exclaimed, staring at me in pity. "Whoa. What? Asgard? Like, Norse Asgard?" Jane interrupted us, and I nodded. "Mm. Yeah. I'm kinda crashing there right now. Anyways, can we please get back to the point? As in 'Why the holy hell Cyril is here?'" I snapped irritably. Shrugging, Darcy walked toward the freezer with the ice cream and put it away. "Fine. Why are you here?" Jane implored, cocking a hand on her hip. "Has anyone ever told you that you look JUST like Natalie Portman?" I queried. "Get to the damn point!" Jane swore, and I laughed. "Right, right. Like I said, I'm here to check in on your science. Also, keep an eye on it. It's come to my attention that...uh..it may be in danger of being 'Formally Investigated'," I said, using air quotes as I didn't know how else I was supposed to low-key tell someone that their life's work was about to get snatched away before their very eyes. Giving me a confused look, Jane leaned against the wall. "What?" she asked, completely baffled. "You know what? You'll figure it out tomorrow. Probably. Just keep an eye on it, alright?" I said tiredly, beginning to step out of the trailer. "Wait! You forgot this!" A voice called out behind me. As that happened, I heard a faint whizzing sound. Whipping my arm out, I caught the box of ice cream that had just been chucked at me. "Wow! You can catch well. Usually whenever I do that the objects just hit people in the back," Darcy claimed. Cracking a small, open-mouthed smile, I clutched the ice cream close. My feet hit the ground with a thump, gathering a small cloud of dust from my tiny jump. "You want a spoon to?!" A piece of metal glanced off the back of my skull, and fell into my hood. "Thanks, Darcy!" I called exasperatedly, jerkily fishing the utensil out of my clothing. I was a quarter mile away before I popped the rounded, rectangular top off. Darcy had given me chocolate, and I think it was Kemps. Whichever, it definitely tasted like my favorite. Happily munching away, I paced the barren desert in thought. Well, not thought. I'm feeling pretty brain dead, to be honest. Ripping open a portal, I stepped back into Asgard. I was standing on that balcony that over looked the front of the city, and the sun was beginning to rise. Either time passes a little different here, or I was gone for long than I thought. Letting out a sigh, I slowly sat down, letting my legs dangle over the edge by the knees. Still eating the ice cream. While I eating, I was too absorbed to notice the four people coming up behind me. "You. We have some questions that we would like you to answer." A voice spoke out from behind me. I let out a yelp, craning my neck to check behind me. Sif and her warriors stood behind my person. With my spoon in my mouth I mumbled a quick "Whafs upp guyfs?" Valstagg quick grabbed the spoon out of my mouth. "Hey! I need that spoon to eat ice cream!" I cried indignantly, gesturing to the tub. After I got my spoon back, I happily agreed to listen and try to answer their questions. Sitting next to me, Sif asked the first. "You seem to be kind of...close with Loki. Has he mentioned anything about Thor, or Odin? Just anything that seems suspicious," she inquired, and I shrugged. "Lemme see. Um, I don't really think so. The only times he's mentioned those guys is when I've asked about them. And I tend to ask a lot, considering that since I've slept, it seems that there's quite a few things that I'm not aware of." I admitted, halfheartedly stabbing at the ice cream. It was starting to melt a little. "Can you guys make ice cream? You should make ice cream. Do you make ice cream?" I asked distractedly. "Sif, let's go. I don't think we're going to get much out of her." Fandral suggested. "Yes, besides, we have other things to attend to," Valstagg reminded. Sighing, Sif smiled at me. Taking another big bite of ice cream, I happily waved goodbye. As they walked away, my childish smile slipped away, only to be replaced by a cocky, twisted grin. "What could you be thinking, with such a devious expression?" Loki wondered aloud, appearing from behind a pillar. Finishing off the ice cream, I lay back on the marble floor and groaned. "Ugh. Why do you let me do these things," I whined, crossing my arms over my stomach. "I am not the one who let you obtain..'Kemps'." Loki reminded, stooping over to read the tub's label. "I just got back from Midgard," I mentioned from my spot on the floor. It appeared that I peaked his interest. "Go on," he urged, staring out over the realm. "I went to see Thor's little girlfriend, and from what I can infer, one of the things she is working on is figuring out how the hell Thor came to Midgard. I think there could've been other things, but that was what I focused on. Anyways, I nicked a photo of a reading." I droned, pulling out a folded photograph from my jacket's pocket. Quickly taking it from my extended hand, Loki unfurled the picture. As he studied it, my phone began to ring. Glancing at me quizzically, Loki looked to the phone in my hand. I accepted the call, only to quickly jerk my head away from the voice giving me a tongue-lashing on the other side. "WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN!" Mello's voice roared from the device. Oh god...Setting the phone gingerly against my ear, I tried to answer. "Heeeeey Mells," I nervously drawled. SHIT SHIT SHIT. "You just up and disappear for six months and expect me not to freak out like this?! Don't you dare try to down play this, where the hell did you go?!" Mello reprimanded me. Huh. I did not know I could still initiate contact like this. "Ah, well, I got kidnapped by a force beyond my power, and then took a killer nap. Next thing I knew, I woke up in a glass coffin surrounded by no people," I told, trying to leave out the dangerous details. "So what you're saying is that I can't come to get you?" Mello sighed, and I could here his disappointment in me through the phone. "Nope. I'm dimensionally unavailable," I chirped, and he swore. "Just make sure to keep me updated, you fucking idiot," he directed, and followed it up with a death threat. "Now, I think we both know that you mean 'love you Cyril, see you whenever,'" I corrected, before hearing a click and beep. Stifling a laugh, I put away my phone. Loki had finished studying the picture, and let it drift to the ground. "I'm going to pay a quick visit to Thor." he announced, and I stared at him. "Wait, what? Ugh, at least let me bring you," I grumbled, jumping to my feet. "And how exactly would you do that-" Loki stopped talking as I opened the portal. "Ladies first!" I said, stepping through and beckoning behind me. We had arrived in the area S.H.I.E.L.D had quartered off. "Did that idiot get himself caught?" I asked tiredly, and Loki nodded. The both of us walked to where Thor was being held, and stepped in. Thor couldn't see us yet, and I stared at myself in one of the one-way mirrors. I caught Loki smiling at my antics, but I kept to myself, pulling faces in the mirror. As soon as Coulson left, I straightened up. Thor caught sight of Loki, and then me. "Brother..who is she? What are you doing here? Please tell me that I can come home," Thor pleaded, and I leaned against the glass. "No. You can't come back. I'm sorry," Loki answered, and as Thor began to argue, he was interrupted. "Father is dead. Mother does not wish for your return. I came here to warn you, and to wish you a final goodbye," Loki said softly. His brother was crushed. "I see. I will accept this fate. Thank you Loki. Goodbye," Thor concluded, and Loki nodded. "Goodbye Thor, and good luck," he turned and motioned for me to follow him. Walking past Thor, I gave him a quick pat on the shoulder. "Tell Darcy 'Cyril says hi'." I whispered before vanishing through the door. Oh fuck. Where's Loki? I was invisible, and no one could see me blindly running through the plastic enclosure. Doesn't mean they couldn't hear me though. I found Loki at the Hammer's area. Silently, I watched as he gripped the hammer and tugged. Giving it up, he relaxed his grip and looked around, before settling his gaze on me. "There you are. Ready to return?" He asked with a smile. As we walked outside out the enclosure, we began to talk. "I have to say, I appreciate your loyalty. There seems to be quite a few people who don't seem to trust me. But ever since you woke up you've stayed at my side. I have to thank you for that," Loki acknowledged, and I began to swing open the portal. He began to step through. "As long as you smile, I'm happy," I confided, beginning to step through. However, before I could begin, I was struck from the side. Falling to the ground, I threw once last glance into the portal. Loki looked panicked, but I couldn't be sure as the connection was severed as soon as I hit the mucky ground. Tuning in to my surroundings, I strained my ears, I heard a man speak from around fifty feet away. "I've hit her sir. Let me know what you want me to do," Th-that sounds like Hawk eye. Oh God, what's wrong with me? My ankle had been pierced, and shakily pulling a bit of my pant leg up with trembling fingers, I found a sight. Blood had seeped over my skin, and was soaking into my lower pant leg. At that moment, dizziness spiraled through my body, and I slumped as people began to run and stand around me. "Not right," I creakily whispered. "Arrow..not..right..compromised," I couldn't talk anymore, and closed my eyes in defeat.

I didn't open them again
