Tony Stark's POV:

No one knows where Cyril is in the city right now, but there bigger things to focus on. I flew over skyscrapers, focused in on Stark tower where Loki was based. I still don't understand how this kid managed to lose him, doesn't she have an unhealthy amount of superpowers at her disposal? There's no time to think about that right now, there's the tower. I began to tilt upright as I got closer to the landing platform. As I lowered, I saw tall, dark and batshit standing in the open, staring at me.

"Plan B," I muttered to Jarvis as I landed lightly.

"Sir the Mark 7 is not ready for deployment,"

"Then skip the spinning rims we're on the clock," I ordered as I began to walk. Loki began to turn and walk away, going into the building. I walked inside and across the staircase as Loki came in.

"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity," he grinned and I looked around. I think Cyril said she was heading over here...

"Uh, actually I'm planning to threaten you," I shot back, heading for the stairs.

"Should have left your armor on for that," he smirked.

"Yeah, seen a bit of mileage and you've got the glowstick of destiny," I gestured to him as I reached the bottom, and slipped behind the bar.

"Would you like a drink?" I asked, surveying the room, checking for any sign of Cyril. Suddenly, I caught a glimpse of what looked like a foot sticking out from behind a corner.

"Stalling me won't change anything," Loki laughed, and I hastily corrected him.

"No, no, threatening. No drink, you sure?" I reached for the glass and bottle and turned back to the counter. "I'm gonna have one,"

"The chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" As he spoke, I looked back over at the foot. It was toward the back of the room, toward the left, kind of in the shadows.

"The Avengers," I replied, pouring a drink. Loki looked at me, inquisitive. "Its what we call ourselves. Sort of like a team. Earth's mightiest heroes, type of thing," I explained quickly.

"Yes, I've met them," Loki gave a sardonic smile. Once again my eyes flitted to the corner, only to find the foot had a leg attached to it and was in a different position.

Cyril's POV:

The wall across from where I was sitting was fuzzy and blurred. My head..is there something wrong with my head? I began to raise my arms when I stopped. Voices!

"The chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that. What have I to fear?"

"The Avengers," there was a brief pause and I shook my head, blinking furiously.

"It's what we call ourselves. Earth's mightiest heroes, type of thing,"  The fog cleared from my vision, and I carefully peered around the small bit of protruding wall to see what was going on. Holy shit!

"Yes, I've met them," Loki said, with his back to me. I quickly pulled my head back, slightly stretching out my legs in the process.

"Takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But, let's do a head count here. Your brother, the Demi-god," I squinted at Tony as he talked, slowly beginning to rise up. "A super soldier-a living legend, who kind of lives up to the legend, a man with breathtaking anger management issues, a couple of master assassins, an angsty child with superpowers...and you! Big fella, you managed to piss off every single one of them," Tony finished, and I grinned. I have to move. There's only so much time.
