Asriel's POV)

I quickly switched off the baby moniter that was filming what was happening in Chara and Frisk's room, my face flushed. Even under all of my white fur, you good still see me blushing. Let's just say that I saw something....... scary, for my mind. Suddenly, Lato, Serif, and the underdark skelebrothers were in front of me, like the had teleported.

"Greetings," said Underdark Papyrus.

"Uh... Hey." I said.

"Now, we understand that you may be confused, so feel free to ask anything you want to, we're all in this together." Lato said, stuffing his bony hands into his pockets.

"Ok...? Well. In that case, let me get the others. They will want to know too." Asriel said getting up, and leaving through the door, leaving the four skeletons to stand in his room.

"Hey." Underdark Papyrus growled at Lato.

"Hmm?" He hummed back in a melodius tone.

"... are you really one of Gaster's failed experiments?" Dark Papyrus asked. Lato was taken back a little.

"Yes... I am." He said.

"Care to explain? I really want to know." Dark Papyrus asked. Lato sat on Asriel's bed, and nodded.

"Sure, I have a small amount of time. But I will explain what I know." Lato said staring into Dark Papyrus's piercing red eyes with his own pink ones. Dark Sans and Serif shifted a little bit.

"A few minutes before I was born, I was a pile of DNA and determination. Didn't even have a physical form. Five minutes later, I'm born as a small skeleton. Gaster had created me with his DNA, as well as.... extra supplies. Alongside me were Papyrus, and Serif. Gaster had casted Serif and I aside, saying we were... mistakes. Too much power on our hands. We had little to no magic power . Dr. Gaster casted us aside as a failed experiment. We hid in an abandoned house in the underground, until Frisk freed us, so from then and now, we have been silently watching over them and their buddies. I guess you could say.... protecting." Lato concluded.

"I see..." Underdark Papyrus said, scratching his chin slightly. "...but shouldn't you be absolutely infuriated with Gaster?"

"Yknow Mr. Edglord, not everything has to be negative. But no, I'm not. Over the hundreds of years of being trapped in darkness, I've learned to swallow my anger, and just accept it."

"I... see." Underdark Papyrus said.

Just then, Asriel came back in with Chara, Frisk, and Rodri. Both Chara and Frisk seemed hot and sweaty, and slightly irritated.

"We were in the middle of something very important you know..." Chara muttered.

"We're very sorry." Lato said, smiling innocently.

"So, what did you want?" Chara asked.

"We came to say that you can ask us questions. You're probably so confused." Serif said.

"Ok. First question I want to ask is who are you guys?" Frisk asked.

"Greetings, Frisk Dreemurr, we are part of Dr. Gasters experiments. Also known as the P-DIE. Which stands for Physical Determination Input Experiments." Lato explains. "We have been keeping watch over you and Chara, keeping you protected."

"I see." Frisk mutters. "Next question. Are you related to Sans and Papyrus in any way?" She asked.

"Technically, yes. We are the "alpha" Papyrus, nicknamed Lato and Serif. Lato stands for Library of Ancient Texts Online, accurate, since I can gaze into the past and future. Serifs real name is Serif.U. It stands for Super Enzyme Ratio Identification Factoror Unit. He is good at distinguishing who is who by studying their enzymes. Interesting isn't it?"

"Yeah, I guess. Anyways, that's all of the questions I got," Frisk said.

"I got nothing." Chara muttered.

"Me neither." Said Rodri and Asriel. They all had begun to turn around when a deep voice muttered out.

"We also came to tell you something else." Serif said. They all turned toward him.

"Yeah?" Chara asked.

"You can't stay at this house anymore." Serif muttered, a worried look on his face.
