I wanted to be with her the whole night. I've never had these feelings for anyone. I don't event know what to call these 'feelings'. All I needed to know it that Molly had to be kept safe. Nothing could happen to her, and if something did, I'd be lost.

Molly and John had a little 'friend date', but I was their friend, right? Why didn't they invite me? I mean, I know I'm not exactly enjoyable to be around, but I didn't know I was that bad.
"So did you enjoy the movie?" Molly asked. I offered to walk her home so John could rest. Her arm was looped in mine, walking in sync and against the cold.
"Actually, I did." I tried to sound surprised. I didn't really think it was that good, but everyone was fawning over Skyfall, Molly included. I glanced her way one too many times during the movie. She was smiling the whole time and her eyes were filled with awe.
"Something about James Bond, I guess." She laughed. I wasn't sure how to reply to that, so I didn't say anything at all. We arrived at her front door. She turned to me.
"Thanks for walking me home..." she smiled and looked down, obviously nervous. Intimidated, maybe?
"It's no problem." I smiled. We stood in silence for what seemed like hours.
"Oh, um..." Molly's eyes met mine, and for once, I wasn't assessing them.
"Goodnight, Sherlock Holmes." My name rolled off of her tongue. It's been a long time since anyone said my full name in a loving context. I bent down to be closer to her face.
"Goodnight Molly Hooper." I grinned. She seemed lost for a second, but then regained herself. Her face looked away as she succumbed to a fit if giggles. I could make her do that; and that, felt great.
I turned on my heel, and strided away from her. I could feel her eyes on me. I pivoted around to face her once more. I lifted my hand from my pocket as I slowly continued walking backwards. My hand jerking in a single wave. He returned the wave, and then continued trying to unlock the door. I turned back around and headed back to 221B Baker St.

I used both hands to push open the door. I searched the room for Molly. I found her hovered over a microscope, her eyes searching frustratedly.
"Molly?". I asked cautiously asked, not wanting to scare her. She gasped and jumped, clutching her chest, she faced me.
"Oh my god, you scared me!" she laughed, breathing heavily. I laughed with her.
"Sorry..." I apologized, scratching the back of my neck. She laughed again.
"It's okay. By now, I should expect you." No you shouldn't I thought. I didn't want to be expected. I wanted to be surprising. Unpredictable. But of course, I was very predictable. I've never done anything...different around Molly. Nothing to spark her interest. I knew that Molly has a crush on me, but I don't think she likes me. Just the idea of me.
"Have you eaten yet?" I asked her while checking my watch. Almost noon. Almost lunch time. She shook her head.
"Come on, I'll walk you down to the lunchroom." I motioned for her to come here. She looked away and smiled.
"There's really no need to walk me down. I'm safe enough here." She looked back at me.
"Yes there is. I need to keep you safe." I once again motioned for her. She walked behind me. I slowed down, so she could catch up, but she kept walking slightly behind me.
We reached the elevator, and I hit the button with a star on it, taking us down to the lobby. I don't even think Molly breathed while we were in there, desperately trying not to make a noise. I did the same.
Mi stepped out of the elevator and found the cafeteria barren. One look at what they were serving, and I decided to go somewhere else. She had already started walking towards the lunch line. The thought if anyone putting that in their mouths made me want to vomit. I grabbed her arm and jerked her back.
"What are you-"
"You do not want to eat that" I said, almost laughing.
And out the door went, I knew exactly where we were going, but she didn't. She just stumbled behind me.
