Crybaby by Melanie Martinez

*Alex's POV*
The sun shined through my black, dusty blinds, waking me up from my somewhat deep slumber. I groaned in pain as I opened my eyes, the sun blinding me with its rays. I rolled off my bed, agonizingly slow, and got up onto my feet that haven't been used in the past three hours or so. I dug my palms in my eyes, trying to adjust to the natural light that filled my dull bedroom. I looked at myself in the mirror that stood in the corner of the room, showing me a very familar face and body. I'm still wearing the clothes from yesterday, the black Fall Out Boy hoodie and black Twenty One Pilots sweatpants.
(a/n: I know a girl is modeling the sweatpants but just pretend it's a guy for the story. Please.)
I grabbed my iPhone 6 off of the charger and checked the time and day. I don't really care about the date. It's just another reminder of how many days of school I have left for the year and trust me, there's a lot.
7:45. Monday
Shit! I have 15 minutes left to get to school on time!
I randomly pick clothes from my drawers to change into. I can't exactly go to school in a hoodie and sweatpants. I have to be presentable. I ended up choosing a long sleeved Peirce The Veil shirt with gray, almost black, ripped skinny jeans. To accessorize, I put on three matching Peirce The Veil bracelets. I slipped on my black and white sneakers and entered the bathroom that was connected to my room. I grabbed a comb and tried to tame my black hair but it was just no use so to save time, I just put on a red beanie. Then, I did the usual stuff like brushing my teeth and putting deodorant on. I found my black school bag and put all of my items inside of it.
