"Thank you for coming so late," I hug Lacey before she heads out the door. "And thank you for helping. You're the best and I love you."

I had been in the studio and in meetings all day and I was in need of a cover video, so Lacey came over to help me out. At the beginning of the year I announced on my channel that I'd be doing studio version covers of songs every other Friday and so far it's been so much fun. I had really been missing doing covers so the new plan forced me to do them.

"Of course, Ava," she laughs as she hugs me back. "That cover better get like billions of views though. I'll text you the finalized plans for dinner next week okay?"

"Okay," I nod. "I'll see you later. Text me when you get home please? It's really late."

She rolls her eyes at me. "Okay, mother. Goodnight."

I hug her one more time and then she's off to her car. I close the door and lock it after her before heading upstairs. Harry's been in the studio since dinner, so I wandered in there to find him. He was sat behind the piano, a cup of tea and his journal in front of him.

"Hi, baby," he smiles softly as I walk into the room. "Did Lacey leave?"

"Yeah, we just wrapped the video," I nod as I walk over to him. I sit down next to him, leaning my head on his shoulder. "Are you working on something?"

"Uh, I don't really know. I've kind of just been writing up ideas and randomly playing. Not much actual in depth work."

I sigh and grab his hand. "As much as I have loved following you around, I'm so glad both of us are home right now."

"I think Pancake is, too," he chuckles and points over to the corner where she's fast asleep by the pillow on the couch. "She's been sleeping the entire time I've been in here. She woke up briefly when I started playing, but other than that she's ignored me."

"Hm. I think she loves music like we do."

"Speaking of music," Harry starts. "How is yours? Did you finish any more songs in the studio this morning?"

I sigh. "Yes and no."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I dunno," I lift my head and look over at him. "Every song that I've finished... I just feel like the songs aren't good enough, I guess. The label turned away like half my album last time. I guess I'm worried that nothing I do will impress them."

"Ave," he hums. "Babe, you shouldn't be so worried about impressing them. The only opinion that should matter at the end of the day is yours."

"Easier said than done," I huff as I put my head on his shoulder again.

"Play me something," he mutters quietly.

I nod slowly and stand to go get my computer. Once I come back to the studio, Harry has moved to the couch and is pulling Pancake into his lap. I curl up next to him as I unlock my computer. I dig through my files to find one to play to him, and I end up opening the one that I'd finished today. I double click on the file named "save the day" and then lean back as it starts to play.

It was still a rough cut, so he only got to hear part of it. Once it ended, I looked over at him in anticipation.

"It's different from your old stuff," he comments.

I bite my lip and nod. "Good different or bad different?"

"Good," he smiles. "Really fucking good. It's amazing, Ave."

I let out a sigh and smile. "Thank you. I was hoping you'd like it."

"Did you think I wouldn't?"

"Not necessarily. But I knew you'd be honest with me."

He nods. "I get that. Hey, complete change of subject, do you want me to touch that up for you?"

He points down to my finger and I look down at the "H" that's on my ring finger. It's faded since he did it a few months ago, but he did do it really lightly so I'm not surprised. I shrug, nodding. "Sure, why not."

We make our way downstairs and Harry gets all of his stuff out. I lay down on the couch and rest my hand on the table where he'd just laid out a towel.

"I was thinking about getting another one soon," I tell him as he sets everything up.

"What do you wanna get?"

I pull my phone out of my pocket and pull up the drawing to show him. "I want to get it for my mom. On my other wrist, since I have one for my dad on this one."

"If you print that and make a stencil out of it I could totally do that."

"Wait, really?"

He laughs lightly as he nods. "It's simple lines. If you trust me, I can do it."

He touches up his initial on my finger and then I print the drawing of the sun. While he turns on music, I trace it onto the special paper he had with his marker so I can transfer it to my wrist. Once I've got it done, I return to laying down and resting my hand on the table.

I grab my phone and take a snapchat of him tattooing me before posting it on my story. I watched him as he carefully moved the gun against my skin, trying my hardest not to flinch away from the pain. I have a really high pain tolerance but I also choose really bad spots for tattoos, so it's never really a fun experience.

He stops and looks up at me. "You alright, baby?"

"Yeah," I breathe out. "The only bad part of you tattooing me is that you can't hold my other hand while it's happening."

He smiles and lifts the hand he was working on to his mouth to kiss the palm of my hand. "M'sorry. You want me to keep going? All I've got is a circle."

I laugh lightly. "Yes, keep going. Dork."

"A circle could represent something. Don't be mean."

He continues on and is done after a few minutes. He cleans it up and wraps it gently. He kisses the wrap around it and then looks at me with gentle eyes.

"You look tired, Ave. Do you wanna go to bed?"

"I need to edit though," I pout. "Tomorrow is my posting day."

"Editing can wait, love. It'll still be there in the morning."

"But-"

"Hush, Ava. You work way too hard, and you need to relax. Now come to bed and snuggle with your husband."
