Slumber party

"Umm.. Uhh, hey gem, can I see you in the kitchen for a moment?"

"Yeah, sure mom." Gemma answered casually.

After mom and Gemma went into the kitchen, Niall and I were left by ourselves in awkward silence. I couldn't help notice he was indeed a very handsome fellow. His hair was quiffed up perfectly, with dark roots while most of the top was blonde. He wore a plain white t-shirt with a black leather jacket making his pale skin look flawless, paired with a pair of fitted, ripped blue jeans and black supra's. A brilliant outfit if I do say so myself.

I decided to break the silence by asking him how his flight was.

"It was okay I guess, the food wasn't that good though."

"Well luckily for you, mom has decided to take us all out to nando's for dinner as a welcome home for Gemma!" His face lit up instantly, almost child like.

Mom and Gemma walked back into the room where we were and Gemma had a smile on her face, mom just looked annoyed. "Niall," mom started. "You'll be rooming with harry while you stay with us. So, make yourself at home."

To be honest, I kind of liked the idea of Niall and I being room mates, he'd be like the brother I never had! We could stay up late laughing, playing video games and just talk about life, ya know? Sure, I had done all that stuff with Gemma, but it wasn't the same as having a guy to do that stuff with.

It was around 5 o'clock in the evening when mom called for us all to get in the car to go to dinner. Thank God, because I was starving! When we got to nando's, mom sat next to Robin, while Gemma, Niall, and myself sat opposite of them, niall being in the middle of Gemma and I. The waiter came an took our orders, and soon our food was at our table.

I have never in my entire life saw someone eat so much as Niall did. It was incredible! Like a bottomless Pitt!

"Where you hungry niall?" Robin said in a playful tone.

"Ehh, a little bit." Niall responded casually. We all laughed at his remark.

"You should see him when he really is hungry." Gemma said laughing.

We finished eating our meals and headed home, where I got the extra pillows and blankets out of the hall closet for Niall.

It was now around 11:00 at night when we decided to go to bed. We started to say our goodnights to everyone, me pecking Gemma and my mom on the cheek and I went to the stair case to wait for Niall, to show him to my bed room. After he kissed Gemma on the lips very politely, only to please our mom, he followed me up the stairs and into my room.

I grabbed my pjs out of my dresser and headed to the bathroom to change. Just before I left the room, I told Niall he could change into his pjs in here while I was in the bathroom. He nodded, and I proceeded out of the room.

When I returned, I found niall on the floor in what looks like a bed he tried to put together out of blankets, playing on his phone.

"What are you doin?" I said laughing

"Getting ready to go to bed." Niall responded in a casual tone.

"You're not going to sleep on the floor! I have a huge bed, there's room for two of us. Get up here you mad man."

"Are you sure? I don't want to make any trouble for ya." Niall questioned

"Yes I'm sure. It's no trouble at all, plus the floor is very uncomfortable."

"Okay, if you insist." Niall said giving up his argument. Picking up his blankets, Niall layed his pillows down at the head of the bed where I had made room for them, and we got into bed and I shut the lamp off on my night stand.

"Harry?" Niall asked quietly.

"Hmm?" I answered.

"Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your room and bed with me, means a lot."

Niall seemed genuinely thankful. I could get someone saying thank you, but he seemed to mean it with his whole heart, I mean it was just a bed after all, and I have enough room.

"Anytime man." I said in a groggy tone. Man, I was tired! Soon we both drifted off to sleep, and I was woken up by the sun shining through my curtains and the smell of breakfast sneaking through my closed door.

I stood up out of my bed and saw Niall starting to shift in his sleep. His eyes fluttered open. "Sorry, didn't mean to wake you."

"Oh you didn't, it's that wonderful smell coming from down stairs! What is that? French toast?"

Sure enough, when we got down stairs it was French toast. My mom was still at the stove, finishing the last few pieces while Gemma brought the orange juice to the table and Robin seated in the living room reading the paper, sipping coffee.

Niall and I sat down at the kitchen table, awaiting our breakfast anxiously. I loved to eat breakfast it's my favorite meal of the day, and French toast is my absolute favorite breakfast food. It's going to be a good day.

"How did you boys sleep?" Mom asked.

"Good." We responded in sync, and mom kind of chuckled at us.

"Niall here, thought I was going to let him sleep on the floor last night." I said chuckling.

"Well I didn't want to be an overbearing guest and steal your bed!" Niall said defending his action.

Mom laughed kindly. She seemed to really like Niall, which I have to admit, I did too. If anyone where to win my sisters heart, I'm glad it was him.

"Now Niall," mom started "don't feel the need to be shy around us. I said to make yourself at home, and I mean it." She said while setting the plate of French toast in the middle of the table.

"Yes ma'm!" Niall answered with a grin.

"Robin!" Mom called. "Breakfast is ready!"

After we had all been seated, we are in a comfortable silence. It was morning after all, none of us felt like saying too much.

All of the sudden robin started to cough rapidly and when I looked over he was choking on a piece of sausage!

"Mom he's choking!" Gemma shouted.

His face was a deep shade of red and he was holding his throat, trying desperately to get the piece of food out of his airway. His face turned a deep shade of red as we all looked clueless as to what to do for him

"Oh my God! Some one call an ambulance!" Mom shouted through tears.
