A night on the town

Somewhere in the mix between Gemma screaming that Robin was choking and Mom crying for someone to call an ambulance, Niall casually got up and pulled Robin from his seat as he began thrusting his fists into Robin's abdomen while standing behind him. Suddenly the piece of sausage that was lodged in Robin's throat flew across the room and Robin took a deep breath, causing the bright color of his face to fade a little as he started coughing.

"Here drink this." Mom said a little rushed as she handed him a glass of cold water. "Don't ever scare me like that again!" She said tears streaming down her face.

"Are ya feelin okay mate?" Niall said looking concerned.

"I am now!" Robin said, still a little flushed. "I think this ones a keeper" he said jokingly at Gemma.

"Ehh I don't know, he's never saved my life before.." She said with a wink. And we all chuckled at her response.

That afternoon, Gemma wanted Niall and I to get more acquainted, so she sent us out for a day of fun. I honestly don't like doing things with people I don't know by myself so I of course begged Gemma to come with me. After about an hour of us arguing about it privately, I decided I wasn't going to win this one.

"But what are we even going to do?" I asked her. "I don't even know what he likes to do!"

"What would you do on a Friday night out with Liam, Zayn and Louis?" She asked me.

"Probably get shit faced at a bar." I answered honestly.

"THATS PERFECT!!" Gemma practically screamed. "Niall loves to drink! He's a heavy weight, so don't try to out drink him Harry... You'd lose." She continued.

And I believed her, with Niall being Irish and all, I bet alcohol pours through his veins and pumps through his heart. He more than likely can handle way more alcohol than I can. "Okay, you win, I'll take Niall out to the bar with me. But since you won't come, can I please bring liam, louis and zayn, so it won't be as awkward?"

"I suppose." She said with a sigh. "But I really want you to get to know him, it's important to me that you approve of him.. For whatever stupid reason that is."

"Awwweee you value my opinion!! How sweet!" I cooed.

"Shut up!" She said ruffling my hair a bit. "Now you go get ready and you two get out of here!"

As I left her room, I pulled my phone out of my pocket, and sent a group message to louis, zayn and liam.

"Hey you guys wanna meet me at the bar on 2nd st in about an hour?"

I waited about two minutes before I got a response.

Liam:

"Louis and Zayn are here with me, what's the occasion?"

Me:

my sister wants me to take her boyfriend out with me to get to know him, but I don't want to go alone so it won't be awkward.

Liam:

Ahh okay. See you in an hour then :)

Somehow I ended up sitting on the edge of my bed, and I realized I needed to get a quick shower.

In about 30 minutes I was showered and dressed, just had to brush my hair out and dry it.. In my opinion, my hair looks awful wet. I dried my hair and shook the curls about my head and knocked on Gemma's door. "You ready mate?" I asked peeking around the corner.

"Sure am!" Niall responded as he kissed Gemma goodbye.

We got out to the car and I started to pull out of the drive way when Niall asked "so where are we headed to?"
