Chapter 4

Chaeyoung's POV

I couldn't get Mina's reaction to me touching her earlier out of my mind in our literature class. When I pushed her forward she tensed up so much and flinched away. I didn't put much force in at all too get that reaction from her. It just bothered me because it felt like she was hiding something.

Every minute that passes next to Mina she gets even more mysterious and I'm not going to lie that it draws me in even more. I can't help but glance over and pay attention to the way she acts. She likes to lean her head on her arm and I have to say that action melts my heart. She looks so adorable when she changes positions in her seat and makes a balled fist and leans her chin on it. Wow, never thought I sound like such a creep.

I was so lost in thought about the beautiful girl next to me I almost didn't hear the getting to know partner project and I'm with Mina. I couldn't have been more happier to get to know her more.

I glance at Mina to give her a huge smile that we are partners, but for some reason she look pretty shocked and a bit upset. I wonder if she actually doesn't want to be my partner at all, that would hurt. She notices me looking at her and gives me a half smile before going back to a worried and sad look. I seriously have to figure this girl out. All I want is to cheer her up and see that gummy smile on her face again.

So fourth period came and went. I was bummed that I couln't sit next to Mina in that class. When the bell rung, our history teacher wished us a good lunch and day.

....wait, hold up! It's lunch time. Oh god, where the heck is the cafeteria and where am I going to sit. Oh my god, I'm going to look so weird and like a total loner....what to so? What to do?

Mina's POV

Finally lunch time, my favorite part of the day. You know, eating is just a favorite for me in general. I was starving since I was too nervous to eat breakfast today. I was already out of the class with my mouth watering for food but Chaeyoung popped into my head. I turned around back into the class and saw Chaeyoung still sitting down, deep in thought. She looked pretty cute, smol bean! I slowly walked over and sat down next to her.

"Uhm Chae, it's lunch. I don't know if you want help getting to the cafeteria or have a table to sit at, but uhmmm I can....well you can come with me, only if you like because it's not like I'm dragging you...." I ranted on.

"Mina.....Mina.....MINA! Yes...I mean no. I mean I would like to sit with you, thank you" she replied with an amazing smile and giggled a little at my surprised face.

I practically almost ran out of breath there. Great, can't I catch brake on embarrassing myself in front of Chaeyoung.

"Cool, come on, the cafeteria is this way," as I aid before leading her.

I see Sana and Momo and the others at the table and make my way there with Chaeyoung.

"Heyyy!!!!!" Sana and Momo said in unison as we walked by.

"Hey guys! This is Chaeyoung. She's new here."

"Hello, I'm Sana. Welcome! Oh my god, your style is so cute. Where did you get your outfit?"

Momo laughed before saying "Calm down Sana. Give her some time to respond. Hello there, I'm Momo. Please to meet you."

"Hi! I'm tzuyu. Nice to mee you." Says the pretty tall girl and she's very close to sana.
"Hi, I'm jihyo. Nice to meet you." She looks like Thomas omg! But she's pretty.

"Hello. It's nice to meet you all. You guys seem really nice." said Chaeyoung.
After that we sat down and my mind immediately went to food. Im growing teenager and I'm hungry. Although I should learn to pay attention to my surroundings beacause I didn't hear Chaeyoung talking to me.

"Earth to Mina."

"Oh sorry, what?" I asked in embarrassment.

Chaeyoung giggled, I swear it was the cutest thing ever. I couldn't help but blush, which I shouldn't have. I looked away really fast, but looked at Momo, she just gave me a confused face then kept moving looking between Chae and I and you could see the realization set it. She raised her one eyebrow up and smiled, damn, she figured I had a tiny crush on Chaeyoung.

Just when I was about to ask Chaeyoung what she said, someone gave me a half hug on my right side and slightly messed up my hair. I knew exactly who would do that, one and only Dahyun. And where ever Dahyun was, Tzuyu was most likely to be as well. I was so happy to see them both.

Sorry for not updating and for keeping you waiting. I've been busy 'cause I attended a design festival for almost a week and there's no wifi in our hotel. I mean they have but it sucks haha that's why I can't publish the update so yeah. Sorry again..

I'll just make it up to you guys.
