Chapter 16

Chaeyoung’s POV

The last few days have been weird with Mina unnie. Like she’s still talking with me, but I can see a shift. She hasn’t brought up the other day at all. Plus she doesn’t get as close to me anymore. The worst part is that our hello and goodbye hugs have been substituted for just waves. Seriously I don’t understand what’s going on between us. One moment we get so close the next she pushes away. I wonder why she does it. I have to get her to trust me enough. I want to show her she doesn’t have to keep walls up with me.

Who knows, maybe things change between us really soon. Preferably in the party later today. Maybe I just need to show her how to let loose and have fun.

Mina’s POV

Finally it’s Friday! Time for a lot of sleeping. As you might havae guessed I’m not the most sociable person, so when Nayeon unnie and Chaeyoung brought up the party my initial answer was not. But after a while and the combination of Chaeyoung’s, Nayeon unnie and Sana’s puppy dog faces I finally gave in. Great. I’m going to an alcohol full and disgusting smelling party. Where people will probably intoxicated and everyone will be dancing super close together all sweaty. Not the ideal place I’d want to be in.

Chaeyoung gave me a ride, but we took a detour to her house first so she could change. The car ride was pretty quiet, and that’s probably my fault. I was nervous to go near her house or anywhere with her alone. She had a nice house, looked very cozy. She led me to her room and went to her huge closet. Well I think it is, compared to me, she had a lot of clothes. I’m pretty much of chic look so I have a bunch of jeans and t shirts.

It took her 1 hr to actually find 4 different dresses she like that she couldn’t decide between.  Me having ADHD, this was torture. I was practically almost falling sleep on her bed. She asked me for help on choosing and I just gave her a dumbfounded look, and she said never mind. She grabbed one she liked best and start undressing right in front of me. I immediately woke up and turned around quickly to hide my embarrassing blushed face. She noticed and laughed and went to finish changing in her closet.

When she came out, she had on plain black tee and dark blue jeans which fit her every curve. Wow, she looked so hot and handsome. I could not keep my eyes off of her.

“How do I look? Is it good or bad? Should I change?”

“Uhm..wow..you look beautiful.” I blurted out. Oh my god, can’t believe I said that. I just had to make it more awkward though. Ugh.

“I mean beautiful nice, as in that’s a nice simple outfit. It matches with your shoes.” I said. Shoot me now. She wasn’t even wearing shoes yet.

Chaeyoung gave me a heart breaking smile showing her dimple and giggle a little. She thanked me and asked if I knew what I was wearing. My answer of course was no idea. She said hold on before searching in her closet. She pulled out a cute black dress and told me to try it on.

“Uhmm, I’m okay thanks. Dresses aren’t my thing.”

“Come on Mina unnie. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee.” Begged Chaeyoung.

I just couldn’t say no to her. She looked so cute with her little pout and really hot with that chic look. So I changed and when I came out, she eyed me up.

“Wow, Mina unnie, you clean up very nicely. You look amazing and sexy…” she said.

Ofcourse I blushed. After that we went to my house to pick up my sisters. Every once in a while I’d catch Chaeyoung glancing at me with a cute smile and I can tell her dimple is showing. Plus I couldn’t take my eyes of her, she looked great.

When we got to the party, it was pretty crowded and crazy. I’m so glad I remember my medication because if I didn’t I’d be fricking out over the noise and how close everyone is. Sana immediately ask Chaeng to dance with her because she knew I and the girls would not. I was kind of bummed without Chaeng by my side. So I started talking with my sisters. Every now and then Dahyun and Momo would have a longing stare with one another. They would for sure make a good couple, but Dahyun wasn’t out yet. Someone came up to me which brought me out of my thoughts.

“Hey Mina-ssi, you look nice.” Said Jinyoung kindly. Great I have to converse with other people. Well, at least he’s cute.

“Thank you Jinyoung. You look good too.”

Then out of nowhere Taehyung(V) popped out and started talking with everyone. He slurred a lot of his words, so he was pretty drunk. He had a water bottle and was saying it was the best and purest alcohol. Straight up vodka, he gave it to everyone in my group to try. Except for me, I don’t drink, I never want to drink. I never want to turn into my dad, plus alcohol mixed with my medication would be pretty bad. Dahyun and Momo just smelled it and you could tell it was strong by their reaction. Nayeon unnie was the only one who tried it, and she just took a tiny sip and his face was so funny and she coughed a little. As she was giving it back to Taehyung, Sana and Chaeng came back from dancing.

“Oh wow, I’m so sweaty now and so thirsty. Oh you have water Nayeon unnie. Let me have some.” She said as she grabbed if from Nayeon unnie and gulped some down before anyone could say anything.

Everyone had such a shocked and worried expression. Nayeon unnie immediately took it out of her hands, but she already drank half.

“Woah….w-what was that? I-i-i-it did not taste like w-water th-though.” She said while giggling and hiccupping.

Well this was going to be a tough night. What the heck are we supposed to do? Chaeyoung is already drunk, by accident. This is why you’re never supposed to drink anything at parties, you never know if it’s actually water or not.

Nayeon unnie told Chaeng that it wasn’t water. The only thing Chaeng said was,

“Ohh…oops.”
