Jakob
I sigh pulling out my phone and dialling Leigh.
She picks up on the 5th ring.
Leigh: Hey babe!
Jakob: I need to talk to you, meet me here in 10.
I hang up and sigh putting my head into my hands.
I kick rocks until I notice a confused Leigh standing in front of me.
"You wanted to talk to me?" She asks sitting down next to me.
"I- I have to end this" I sigh deeply.
"W-what?" She asks a taken back by what I'm saying.
"It's over" I say as we make eye contact.
"I-I thought you loved me." She says as tears form in her bright blue eyes.
"I did. I just- it doesn't feel right.." I say.
She slaps me hard and says "You'll never find anyone like me!" Angrily an storms off.
"Thats kinda the point stupid head" I yell.
I hear her scoff, not like I care anyways.
I get up eventually good inside and head into my bedroom.
I sit down on my bed, grabbing my guitar.
I strum the chords softly, humming along to the tune of what I'm singing.
I get a soft knock on my door, "who is it?" I ask not looking up from my guitar.
The door opens revealing Chris and Ethan.
"What's wrong?" I ask looking at their concerned faces.
"It's Samantha" Ethan stumbles.
"What about her?" I ask carefully playing my guitar down.
"She-she's in hospital" Chris's words shock me.
"How?" I ask my eyes widen.
The both look at each other worriedly.
"She... She over dosed" Ethan says with worry pure in his eyes. I shoot up from my seat, "I wanna see her" I say determined.

Samantha
I shift around, opening my eyes. Everything was blurry, i saw faint lights that were blinding me. That is when it hit me, I was in hospital.
I turn to see Leo reading newspaper while Tessa is fidgeting with her stress ball.
Leo puts down his paper and goes to check how I am doing, "Oh thankgod your awake! I was so worried about you" He runs over to me and hugging me lightly.
I wince, my whole body ached.
"Oh, sorry" he pulls away carefully and going out to get a doctor. I shudder as Tessa walks over to me sitting down in the chair beside me.
"Jakob, Chris, and Ethan are on their way.." She says resting her arm on the arm of the chair.
"Why are they coming?" I ask a little groggy.
"They are worried about you Sam, can't you see that?" Tessa says with hurt in her eyes.
"They don't need to worry about me, I am perfectly fine" I say sitting up.
"Jakob likes you" She blurts out instantly covering her mouth.
My eyes widen.
Jakob Likes Me?
"No, you can't be serious" I say shaking my head in disbelief. "He does... Just don't tell him I told you, it was kinda meant to be a secret between them and I.", she says before shifting back as Leo had returned with a doctor.
"Samantha, how are you feeling?" The doctor asked looking up from his clipboard.
ugh, kill me
"Great, now can i go?" I ask rushed.
"Not yet. But we can let you go tomorrow. We just need to make sure you are alright to go home tomorrow, verbally." he states.
I throw my head back.
"ughhhhhhhhhhhhh I am fineeeeee!" I whine, looking at Leo with puppy eyes.
He shakes his head at me.
"Sorry kiddo, you gotta stay here just for tonight." He says folding his arms.
"Can atleast Ethan stay here so I have company?" I plead. "I am going to have to discuss that with him and his mum." Leo says.
"Can you ask him and his mom?" I ask pleadingly.
"I guess", he sighs whipping out his phone and dialling Ethan's mother.
"Hey Amanda, Leo here, would it be possible Ethan stay down at the hospital so young Samantha here has company.......Mhmmm, yep..... Ok, thanks Amanda" He hung up and put his phone in the pocket of his shirt.
"He can stay. Just don't worry him out any more than he already is" Leo says, I nod my head slightly.
"So.. What time will he be here?" I ask.
"around now.", Leo says looking at his watch. I look up in surprise. "That was quick" I chuckle.
"They left the house like 20 minutes ago" Tessa butts in chuckling while shaking her head.
"Jakob and Chris will come say a quick hi then leave cause they have to do something" Tessa adds.
"Ok" I say leaning back in the bed.
There is a knock on the door and in comes, Jakob, Ethan, and Chris.
"YOU WORRIED ME TO DEATH" Ethan shouts running over to me, engulfing me in a big hug.
"Hi to you too" i chuckle at all of them.
"We were worried Sam." Jakob adds while they all nod.
"Well we have said our hi, so we gotta go, Jake" Chris says, Jake sighs. "Bye sam" Jake and Chris say in sync.
"Bye" I wave.
"Well, I guess you and I should head home, Tess" Leo says. Tess nods waving at me, giving me a slight smile.
"Bye" I wave to them both. Soon it is just me and Ethan.
Ethan turns to me and folds his arms.
Oh no.
"Why?" tears form in his eyes. I sit in silence, looking at each other. It was quite an awkward silence really.
After a few seconds of intense staring I break eye contact and put my head in my hands.
"I can't Ethan, please just leave me alone" I say laying down on my side.
"Please don't cut.." he softly spoke.
His words swirled around my head...
