"Possibly the best training session I've attended." I say to Nate as he comes out of the changing rooms wearing shorts and a jumper.
"Oh yeah?" He says mumbling still looking at his phone
"Yeahhh..." I say trailing off and looking at his screen "what's that?" I ask moving nates arm so I have a better view of his phone.
"Liv stop." He says nudging me off,
"Mmmmmkay thanks."
"Uhhhhh I Gotta go." Nate says running off
"K bye then." I say raising my eyebrows and sighing,
"You ready?" Grayson says walking up to me
"Yeah where's eth?" I ask looking around
"Over there. Oh my god." Grayson says looking behind me
I turn around and see Ethan with his face attached to a girls face.
"Jeeeeez Gowan eth." Gray says laughing awkwardly scratching the back of his head
"Let's just go without him he had the keys and I don't really want to disrupt there session" I say turning to Grayson
We begin walking home
"Gray do you know what's wrong with Nate he seems out of it."
"No, but it might be something to do with his brother because he's in hospital at the moment."
"Really!? Why!? He didn't tell me about this!"
"Well I don't think I'm meant to tell but his brother got bullied and beaten up outside of school and he got knocked onto the floor and hit his head and fell down the stairs by the gates and is in a coma."
JEEEEZ THAT WAS INTENSE
"Oh my god! I can't believe he didn't tell me!" I say getting a key out of my backpack and walking up the drive way to our house, I saw a note on the door and pull it off

I haven't spoken to Nate in 3 days
He hasn't replied to any of his texts and hasn't been in school.

Thursday
Me: where are you?- 8:34
Me: we've gone to school without you-8:45
Me: Nate this isn't funny please answer-15:58

Today
Me: Nate this is stupid.-9:23

Nate: I'm sorry I'll come over later I need to sort some things out, I've got a lot to explain.😔💕-18:57
I sighed with relief and put my phone on charge, I put on a pair of short shorts and a loose shirt and got into bed.
I must have fallen asleep because I woke up to my covers moving and my bed tilting slightly
I stretch and rolled over to see Nate sitting on the edge of my bed in only sweats
Crying
Nate was crying
I've never seen him cry before and it broke my heart
"Nate oh my god." I jumped on him and embraced him in a humongous hug
He lifted me so I was on his lap and tucked his head Into my neck
I could feel his silent sobs and hugged him tighter
"I've missed you baby." I say crying now as well
"I'm so sorry I love you." He says sniffing and looking at me he wiped away my tears with his thump as I do the same to him
"Nate please tell me everything."
"After practice on Wednesday I got a message about my brother saying he was in a deadly condition, I know graysons told you about what's happened." I nod "well he has 2 weeks to wake up and if he doesn't they're unplugging him, they said it's too risky to keep him on life support much longer when there isn't much hope."
I cry harder than ever
"Nate I'm so sorry." I hug his tightly and kiss his chapped lips.
"It's not your fault I'm just glad your here I was at my cousins house for 3 days because I couldn't cope with my mom I feel so bad for leaving her but she acted like it was all my fault like I could have prevented it but I know I couldn't!"
"Are you gonna face your mom?" I say looking into his eyes
"Well I was kinda hoping you would come with me."
