Chapter 21

I opened my eyes to see Nates chest his arms were still wrapped round me.
I looked at Nate for a while jut admiring his featured
BECAUSE LETS BE HONEST HIS JAWLINE IS SHARPER THAN A KNIfE
His eyes flickered and opened and I immediately shut mine pretending to sleep.
I feel him move his arms, he begins playing with my hair
"Morning." I mumble still with my eyes closed
"Morning baby." Nate says leaning over and kissing my lips softly
"I'm going to the toilet." I say wriggling out from his grip and leaving my room just as I'm about to enter the bathroom when I hear..
"Hey liv can I talk to you?"
I turn around and see Ethan stood in his sweats
"Yeah Ethan" I respond sighing heavily
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Fr just generally being a dick all the time."
"Don't stress It E I don't care that much to be honest."
"Really?"
"Positive"
I head into the bathroom and shut the door
After I finished in there and walk back into my room wearing only my towel.
"You gonna shower?" I ask Nate as he looks me up and down and smirks
"I was but I don't have a towel so I guess I'll just have to use this one." He says grabbing mine and running
"NATE!" I scream running and jumping under the covers of my bed making them wet.
"UHHHH YOUR SO ANNOYING, IM GONNA GET YOU FOR THIS!" I say laughing and putting on underwear and an oversized top quickly
My phone goes off Megan👯 wants to FaceTime
I accept
'Hey boo!" Megan says
'Hey meg you alright?'
'Yeah I'm ok I just wanted someone to talk to! Oh and Cameronaskedmeoutandisaidmaybeifwegetabitftiendlierandgettokniwmoreabouteachothersoheakedmeonadatelastnightandiwentsolongstoryshortwearedating.'
'Wait what?'
'Me. And. Cameron. Dallas. Are. Dating.'
'Omg Megan I'm so happy for you!!!'
'Thank you my darling, SO you going to the party after the game tonight?'
'Round who's?'
'Oscars."
'Uhhhh I don't know.'
'Awwww please EVERYONES gonna be there!'
'I'll talk to Nate about it.'
"Talk to Nate about what?" Nate walks through the door in only a towel in all his abbed glory.
"Oh about Oscar's party tonight.'
"I'm down"
'I guess we're going then!'
'Cool see you guys at the game chow!'
'Chow mwah mwah'
"Right today is gonna be a get things done kinda day until the game but it's at 5;45 soooo we have plenty of time!"
"Oh right so what do we have to do?"
"Well firstly we are going to go to the mall and shop......"
"Fiiiine" Nate says huffing
I put on a thrasher jumper and high waisted jeans and put my hair up in a bun I grab my glasses as I feel like driving and put them on, 0% effort. No makeup because I can't be arsed. I go downstairs and find Ethan, Grayson, Nate and Jess sat eating cereal.

"Wooooah Mildred's back" Grayson shouts laughing
Ethan bursts out laughing as well while Jess and Nate just look at each other confused.
I go over and smack Grayson and Ethan on the back HARD.
"Mildred?" Nate asks?
"Basically they used to call me Mildred because I apparently wear old lady glasses and Mildred was a woman that happened to have the same glasses as me and she was old."
"Aw I think you look cute."
"I think she looks like Mildred." Ethan says making Grayson crack up
"Were going to the mall." I say bluntly
"Same."
"Were going now."
"Same."
"Ughhhhh" I scream getting annoyed because I'm a moody bitch
I get into the drivers seat and everyone else jumps in the car.
It's a 20minuet drive to the mall and once were there we get out.
"You guys can go off and me and jess will meet you later."
"It's fine we'll come with you." Grayson says
"Fine." I say grabbing Jess's hand and walking over to Victoria's Secret marched strait in and started browsing with the boys awkwardly stood in the corner.
"Do you like this?" I say to Nate holding up a black lacy bralette
"Yeah I'd love to see you in that." Nate says biting his lip and laughing softly I roll my eyes and go pay.

The day goes by quickly and before we know it we are back at home
'Skort (skirt and shorts sewn together), sports bra top, done.' I say throwing each item into my bag I've already done my hair and makeup
"Finally ready now?" Nate says laughing
"Yep let's go!"

15minuetes later we arrive at the game the fans are crouwded in the stands
"Bye I love you." Nate says hugging me
"Love you too." I say hugging him and kissing him softly
"OLIVIA, NATE STOP WITH THE LOVEY DOVEY STUFF AND HURRY UP!" Coach said
I ran to the changing rooms and see Megan changing in our usual spot in the corner by the mirror "HEY GURL!" She shouts running to me and hugging me
"HEY MEG!"
"Right girlies gather round, gather round." Coach Wilbey shouts "we have had an amazing season so far no mishaps no falling! BUT that's not to say it can't happen, please please please concentrate and remember your moves for gods sake who's with me?!"
Everyone puts there hands in
"Sharkattack shark attack go go go!" WE ALL SCREAM and run to the gate that will open when we need to go out on the pitch
"MEGAN, LIV at the front please!"
Megan and I run to the front
"So girls single file liv you go first when they call you out and Megan you follow."

".....THE SHARKS!!"
We hear the crowd go crazy as the boys run out on the feild
"AND ON THE OPPOSING TEAM WE HAVE THE LIOOOOONNSSS!!"
The crowd goes crazy again as the other team come out
"Right and what would a team be withought the supporters LETS WELCOME THE SHARKS AND LIONS VERY OWN CHEER SQUAD LEADED BY CAPTAIN OLIVIA DOLAN AND FOR THE LIONS NATALIE WILSON!" We all run out onto the feild and get hit by a sound wave of screaming. I see Nate lined up on the touch line with the team and run to the middle of the pitch and get in my place the music starts playing and before I know I'm twisting, flipping and turning in the air as the crowds go crazy for our routine.
The music stopped and we run to the sideline as the game begins
What seems like a lifetime later the sharks won the game
"Nate runs over to me and picks me up kissing me on the lips

"Well done you played amazingly!" I smiled
"You looked so good baby." He says kissing me again

"WOO GO SHARKS PARTY AT MINE!" Oscar shouts and runs past
"I'll see you in a bit im gonna go get ready."
I run to join the other girls in the changing rooms they were touching up there makeup and getting into the clothes they were wearing to the party
I changed into a black mesh top and wore a Calvin Klein sports bra underneath with black jeans and white Stan smiths
"Ready?" I say to Megan
"READYYYY!!" She shouts excitedly
We leave and get into E and G's car to wait for them, once they FINALLY mreturn they fill up the car and leave
"This is gonna be littt!"

We arrive and there are students lining the road we park up and get into the house and it's a typical high school party🤷‍♀️
Nate and I went outside with our drinks and sat on the patio with some of mates friends who were smoking
"Yo Nate." One of them fist bumping Nate I knew him as coxie I think his real name was Callum but coxie was his nickname. Nate pulled me onto his lap and burying his head into my sholder hugging me tight we all look up when we hear "TRUTH OR DARE." Being chanted from inside "don't go" nate whispers close to my ear, I shiver and stay seated as everyone gets up and goes inside.
I turn round straddling Nate and look him dead in the eye we lean in and kiss for what seems like eternity.

"I love you liv."
"I love you Nate."
