I pulled a suitcase now and overtop of my head, hoping that it would hide me better. I waited patiently for Mel or Jc to come back for me. I knew that Mel wouldn't be happy with me for telling Jc where I was but I really trusted him. I hadn't been able to put my trust in someone I had just met in so long, it felt nice to meet someone and let my walls slowly come down. I closed my eyes and let myself calm down, let my heart slow, and my breathing become normal. I compared in my mind with and without Jc and I knew that regardless of if I had to be someone else or if I could just be Skylar, I wanted to be with him.

My heart froze and I held my breath as the driver's door opened, I didn't let myself move. I heard the door close, I started to slowly breath again, keeping my eyes tightly shut. The door behind me slid open, my exposed back felt the warm sunshine and wind for only moments before I felt hands grab my sides, ripping me from the van and standing me on my feet. Scream uncontrollably I already felt myself starting to cry, a hand wrapped around my mouth to keep me quiet. I was flipped around and pushed up against the van, it was Mel. His eyes serious, "Shut up!" he yelled out.

"Sorry," I panted, "I didn't know it was you!"

"I located the vehicle and some evidence just now, but I have yet to locate the man."

"What do we do?" I said crouching down and examining the area.

"Better question, Jc is here. Why?" Mel said shielding me from looking through the parking lot.

"He called and was already here before I could tell him not to. I trust him," I said quietly.

"He's running through the airport like a mad man, talk about drawing attention."

"I didn't tell him to do that!" I yelled. I couldn't believe after everything he discovered that he was going to run around the airport like a crazy person.

Mel tore through the suitcase, throwing me a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie, "Put these on." I quickly through them on over my clothes and grabbed my sunglasses throwing them on as well as I tucked my hair under the hoodie. "Let's go," Mel said grabbing my hand and walking me into the airport. My heart beating out of my chest at the thought of being exposed in the open with the stranger so close. My eyes darted around the room examining everyone's face, but also searching for Jc. Mel drug me through the crowds, though I didn't know where I was going I knew that I would be safe.
