Katie was on the sofa of the Phantomhive's study. A map of England laid across on the mistress's lap. The brown parchment was marked with red ink, of the area the children went missing." Anything?"

" Not at all my lady. It was as if the children disappeared in thin air. They vanished without trace." Katie frown. Even this demon couldn't find a single clue. What was going on?

Alexavier red the look on his mistress's face but kept his face neutral. ' I'm a butler. Not a Magician.'

Katherin's long fingernail traced around the area of the mark. " Portman square." She muttered to herself. Ciel chin was lying on his fist as he studied the girl from behind his desk. His cobalt eyes darted to Sebastian asking for any leads, but to his disappointment Sebastian shook his head. What is this? Really? Ciel thought as his eyes narrowed and sharpen itself onto his desk. Ciel looked up when Katie sighed. Her sunny dress flowed behind her as she stood up. " Ciel," catching his attention. " I think we should investigate the crime scene ourself." To the Earl's surprise, a smile crept on his face without control." The kidnapping happened in Portman square, but the culprit could easily came from out of town, but he couldn't be far off." Katie continued.

"Alright." Ciel nod as he tried to hide his grin once he felt his butler eyes on him,

" Sebastian, prepare the carriage at once."

The butler smiled a cashier grin and bowed low, "Yes, my lord." and left the room. Alexavier quickly follow suit. Leaving the watchdog and the raven together.

"S-So?" Katie tried breaking the awkward silent. Ciel face heated up as he remembered this after noon event when he heard the beautiful mistress stutter. ' Thank god Sebastian wasn't here, I wouldn't ever hear the end of this. Katie felt Ciel's eyes on her and shied away to the side. The wall suddenly became interesting.

To Katie's surprise Ciel spoke up, "It is impossible for the crime scene to leave no trace." His knee high boot clicked as he approached her. Seating himself next to her. 'I didn't mean to scare you this afternoon.' He sighed. ' I'll make her open up to me again. We will be working together, after all.'

'R-Right" A strand of silky black hair fell over her lovely face. Ciel reached for it but stopped himself. 'What am I doing?' His hand hanged in midair, he awkwardly place it down.

"Master. The carriage is ready." ' Thank god' Ciel sighed. Katie followed a few steps behind.

The ride in the carriage was in silent. Ciel sit opposite to Katie, looking out through different window. Ciel gazed at Katie through the end of his robin's egg blue eyes. Now that Ciel took a good look at the mistress, she had a petite body, her long black hair curled slightly at the end. She has beautiful eyes that looked like emerald jewel were actually in them. Noticing Ciel's eyes on her, she turned to smile. But it soon turn into a smirk, a superior smirk. The queen's watchdog glared at this, but soon covered it with his own forced smile.

"Let's play a game." Katie turned to him with complete grace. God he never saw anyone moved so fluently before.

"What sort of game?" He became intrigue, placing his chin on his fist. This Lady katherin was indeed interesting. She was filled with surprises, and never once did she disappoint him.

" Let's have a bet" Ciel eyebrow slightly raised in surprise. Katie continue, " To see who would be the first to capture the culprit." She grinned cheekily.

Only for the earl to return it, "Playing like this now are we?" A small giggled left her mouth. "And what is the prize?"

"If I win, you will have to. . . hmm," She gave it a thought "do one thing that I command." she giggled childishly.

"And what would that be?" Ciel shifted slightly so he was closer to her, smirking.

"Secret~" she placed a slender finger on her rosy pink lips. "I will do one thing," she lifted a finger in the air, "One thing, anything that you want," she grin, "But only if you win that is." She teased mockingly. This was entertaining.

The Terrasius family worked under the queen and served them loyally. The Terrasius was law, was fair and was judgement.. They are the magistrate. They brought fairness to England. Terrasius is justice.

The Phantomhive family has served for generation. They are called the "Queen's watchdog" or the "awful noble". The phantomhive was a dark agency that conceals all the royal family's evil doing and eliminate every thread linking the british royal family's involvement . . . . no matter how dirty the method. A "phantom" is something a royal family shouldn't have. The dark street of the east end . . . is where the people involved with multinational underworld gather in this country. The one who has power to control and manage everything in the underworld of this country to avoid it leaking out into the surface world . . . .

Why in the world did the queen order the Terrasius to cooperate with the Phantomhive. Something was brewing. Something was going on. And they have to figure out what it was. This is a special case that one alone cannot handle.

"Deal." The earl smirked. "I will win anything with the word competition written all over it."

"Master, we have arrived."

Sebastian opened the carriage allowing the earl to step down from it. He turned around and offer Katie his hands and smiled, which Katie took gratefully.
