A chill rolls down her spine at the looming building before her.

Lydia's car rolls to a stop in front of the building known as Eichen House, and Bea rushes to the front gate where Scott and Noah wait for her, and the small girl is quick to wrap her arms around her foster father. She feels an instant relief as he strokes her red hair, her tense muscles relaxing slightly. He pulls away after a few moments, holding her at arm's length.

"Bea, I don't want to say, are you sure about this, but–" the man starts, still coming to grips with the supernatural and Bea's and Lydia's abilities.

"No, he's here. I swear to God, he's here," Bea responds determinedly, cutting the older man off. Her heart pounds loudly in her chest at the thought of Stiles only being yards away from her, trapped in a dark basement with that thing.

The man nods, trusting his foster daughter's instincts, and the group marches up the front steps, through the front door. Another chill rolls down Bea's spine as new whispers invade her ears. She clenches her eyes tight, reaching for Lydia's hand as they walk up to the main desk.

"I need access to all the basement rooms in this facility," Noah demands the receptionist. With one show of Noah's badge, the man walks out from behind the desk, leading them toward the basement.

Bea allows the whispers to guide her, following them to a large, white door. She presses her palms against the metal, closing her eyes as she rests her ear against it.

"No! No! No! No!" she hears Stiles' voice shout, his voice breaking. "No, wait! Wait!"

Immediately, she pulls away from the door, swallowing harshly. "It's here. It's right here," she confirms, pointing to the door.

The orderly is quick to unlock the door, the group pushing passed him as they rush down the steps into the dark and cold basement. Bea spots the dotted glass panel in the ceiling that casts a moonlit shadow through the basement. "Stiles!" the redhead shouts, her sapphire eyes wildly searching through the darkness, her ears desperate to hear a response from the boy. Her heart sinks when she doesn't receive one.

She gets to the bottom step to find an empty basement, no sign of Stiles, and no sign of Nogitsune. The girl feels sick to her stomach as she glances around the concrete prison, exactly as the one she saw in her vision. Only there's no Stiles. There's no sign that he was ever even here.

"Bea?" Scott questions his brows raised in curiosity as he looks over at the distraught girl. She had sounded so confident; had been so sure. So, why isn't he here?

"I don't understand," she whispers, her voice breaking. Tears sting the back of her eyes as the adrenaline starts to fade from her veins. "I saw it. He was here. This has to be it."

"Then where is he, Bea?" Noah questions from a few feet away. She meets his disappointed eyes, shrinking under his gaze. "Where is he? Where is he!" His yell startles her, and a few tears fall down her face in response. She watches as Noah's countenance quickly changes from anger to guilt. "I'm sorry."
