Rosy kept her head down, resisting the urge to look up. More paper was thrown at Rosy the longer she kept her head down. Rosy had started to cry silently. When Ms. Marvey walked in, she looked at the piles of crumpled up paper siting around Rosy. She saw Rosy with her head down. Rosy quickly got up and rushed out of the room. Ms. Marvey tried to catch her arm but Rosy jerked away. Rosy had been spotted by Ms. Avery and Mr. Wilden when she ran off. When she turned around, Ms. Marvey, Ms. Avery, and Mr. Wilden were coming behind Rosy. The three looked concerned for the young girl with tears streaming down her as fast as a raging river.
"Rosy. Are you okay?" asked Ms. Marvey, sympathy deep in her voice as she tried to cover up her anger
"Do I look okay to you?" said Rosy sarcastically, trying not to yell at the innocent, yet breaking further down into tears.
"Can you guys watch my class for like, fiveish minutes please?" Ms. Marvey asked Ms. Avery and Mr. Wilden.
"Yeah. See you in class Rosy." said Ms. Avery as she gave Rosy a hug.
Mr. Wilden had seemed to have a look of anger on his face as he stormed off to Ms. Marvey's classroom. Ms. Avery went running after him. Soon Rosy was drying her tears and getting a drink to calm down. Through the hallways, all one could hear was Mr. Wilden yelling at kids to pick up the crumpled up paper and put it on his desk. Soon Rosy saw her class carrying paper into Mr. Wilden's class, then return empty handed to their original classroom.
"Wanna come back to class?" asked Ms. Marvey jokingly, seeing as the kids were half scared out of their minds after Mr. Wilden had gotten in the room.
"Not really." Rosy said irritated, not feeling like joking around.
"Rosy, I am SO sorry. I should've kept a closer eye on them. More so you seeing as you've had a rough past few months." said Ms. Marvey, placing blame on herself
"Gosh, you're just like everyone else. Always taking credit. 'I did this!' 'I did that!' can't people leave credit where credit is due!" said Rosy out of anger.
"There's my Rosy." said Ms. Marvey, beaming with a bright smile on her face.
Rosy couldn't help but smile. Ms. Marvey placed one arm around Rosy and they walked back to class. Before they walked in, Ms. Marvey gave Rosy a quick hug. They walked in together and Alex ran up and hugged her sister tightly. Rosy quickly pushed Alex off and sat down near Ms. Marvey's desk. Rosy once again put her head down and contemplated if she wanted to go home, which was a really easy question to answer but hard to go against. About 10 minutes after everything had calmed down, Mr. Wilden came in and handed a piece of paper to Ms. Marvey. Ms. Marvey looked up at Rosy worried. Rosy stood up and walked over to see what was on the paper. Rosy saw what it said and her heart sank. Both teachers had a look of anger and disappointment on their faces.
"Dear Rosy,
Please fall off the same building but this time, have nothing will catch you.
Madiline"
Ms. Marvey looked both disgusted and disappointed. She looked over to where Madiline was sitting and pulled her put of the room. Rosy stood there staring at the letter and kept her eyes on it, scared to trail her eyes to her classmates. When Ms. Marvey came back, she saw how Rosy reacted and grabbed the letter, ripped it up, and then threw it away. Rosy had a look of anger on her face.
"Can I go to the bathroom really quick?" Rosy asked Ms. Marvey, anger strong but held in her throat.
"Yes." said Ms. Marvey, cautiously yet trusting.
Rosy rushed out of the room and went to the girls bathroom. She went straight to a sink and turned on the water. She cupped her shaking hands and filled them up with water, then splashed it on her burning hot face. Rosy stood there, hands on sink, face dripping wet, and still shaking. Rosy grabbed a few paper towels and dried off her face. Rosy was cautious about going back to class but went anyway. While walking back, Rosy was sluggish and had her feet dragging on the ground, unable to care for anything at that moment. She dreaded the moment she came upon her classroom. Luckily, the bell rang soon after she had arrived, so she didn't have to stick around for very long. Rosy went to her locker to grabbed her binder and backpack for gym. After she opened her locker, notes fell from it. These ones saying 'Get Well Soon' but Rosy quickly identified the handwriting as Ms. Farren, Ms. Johnson, and Mr. Wilden. Rosy didn't know what to do. She picked up the cards and put them in her locker, not bothering to read them. She reached in and grabbed her stuff then started walking.
