new message from Nat Mason
Nat Mason
so uh
i just had an interesting conversation with penny
and she told me about how she messaged you
well, she yelled at me about what she messaged you
and well
just know that her opinions on you are just opinions
and they're certainly not ones that anyone else shares
she's just very protective over our dad
you see, he's her best friend???
she was bullied a lot as a child and he was always the one that'd wipe away her tears
and when she came out, the bullying got worse, but he was still there for her
always.
i mean, so were we, but a father's relationship with his daughter isn't something to be competed with, you know?
shit, sorry. i didn't mean to open up old wounds.
but uh, she's really protective over him
and she feels like anyone that's mean to him is just jealous or angry and bitter
and she believes that they deserve to suffer
Cara O'Brien
Do you think this changes anything?
She wants me to suffer.
She wants my family to suffer.
Not only that, be she intends to ensure it?
I don't give a crap about the fact that she was bullied.
I was bullied. Moony, too. And Oliver.
You don't see me and my sister threatening everyone that made our friends feel like shit, do you?
You don't see me promising to make people suffer just for making my Mom cry.
I might have been sympathetic, or empathetic, or whatever, if this message hadn't come purely because she pretty much threatened my family.
And besides.
Shouldn't it be us who are angry?
I mean, aren't you the ones who stole our Father?
Your Mother? You don't see me threatening her for stealing away my Mother's husband and making her feel inadequate for the rest of her life, do you?
You don't see me blaming your Mother on my Mom's second divorce, because she felt like her husband deserved better than her. And isn't it just easier to divorce him now than do it after he's found someone else and gotten her pregnant, too?
You don't see me blaming you for stealing the childhood that I once had, do you?
You don't see me blaming you for taking away Moony's chance to have the same life as Oliver and I had, even if it was for such a short time.
Please, just stop trying.
We're not family.
We were never family.
You just happen to be some girls that have the same sperm donor as we did.
You just got to keep him.
---
friendly reminder that cara's had to keep all of this bottled up inside for over 23 years.
paisley knows a lot about what happened and how cara feels
and so does dylan
but she's never been able to properly rant about it bc she's always afraid that someone will judge her & she didn't see the point in ranting about him, bc what good is it going to do? it's not going to bring him back, is it?
but now, he's back and cara is p i s s e d.
