Stinging Truth, Ringing Words
Twitch

Erica was curled up next to Twitch, he was running his hands gently through her hair, she smelled so good- like mangoes or something; so fruity and tangy.

"Why me?" Erica asked suddenly, sitting up.

"What do you mean?" Twitch watched as Erica ran a finger across his face, tracing his lips.

"What about Thalia?" She asked, her green eyes intently gazing into his, making him uncomfortable. The truth was, he had no idea himself. He had felt something for Thalia, that was for sure, he even missed her slightly but the feeling of finally nestling against Erica's warm body and hearing her lilting voice in his ear and her fingers tracing his face didn't compare to anything he had felt before- not with  Thalia, not even with Alexis.

"I guess it's always been you, Erica." he finally, murmured. She looked into his eyes to make sure he was telling the truth, satisfied with the sincerity in his gaze, she smiled at him.

He sucked in a breath. He hadn't seen that smile for a really long time. "You're so beautiful, Erica. Gorgeous, ethereal, stunning. They just don't cover it, honestly." He was turning into a sappy little weirdo but strangely, he felt better.

She turned her head away. "You know, you're pretty decent to look at, as well," she replied, smirking slightly.

"Thanks a bunch for that heartwarming compliment, babe."

"I didn't know you were a 'babe' kind of person," she was laughing slightly, he hadn't seen her this vulnerable, this human before.

"I'm not. You always manage to bring out the worst in me, Erica."

"Everybody has their respective talents, Marky boy."

"Yeah, you get a solid A+ in being the most annoying girl I've ever encountered."

"You, my friend, are a scholar in the subject of being a rude-ass jerk that people tend to want to punch. At least, you graduated that course."

He pinned her down on the sofa as she laughed. Annoying little bitch, he thought as he smiled slightly. "I have no idea why I have feelings for you."

"Maybe because we're both broken pieces but together, we make sense like a jigsaw puzzle."

"That was utterly cheesy."

"What can I say? You bring out the worst in me." Erica quoted him and he pressed his lips against her, shushing her laughter.

Twitch lifted his shirt over his head and wrapped it around his fist. Raz was punching the bag with a furious intensity, his face was livid.

"'Sup Raz?" He asked as he did his warm-ups. One, two, three, four, five...
