The room is silent as I wait for the guards to bring in the patient. Most of the time there's yelling and struggle involved, but one seems to be coming quietly.
When the guards open the door, I look up to see an average sized man with a barcode-like fringe. He is silent upon entering, and remains silent as the guards shackle him up.
The guards nod at me and exit, and I grab my things and walk over to the patient.
"Kyungsoo, right?" I try to start a conversation. All of the other patients so far have been talkative in some way. Even Sehun was more vocal than this guy.
"Yeah." He says shortly.
I start washing his arms, "How are you today?"
"Great." This one apparently doesn't like conversations.
I decide to drop it and focus on getting my job done. I finish his arms, chest, and stomach without him making a sound. I'm in the middle of washing his neck when I feel a vibration coming from it. Stopping to listen, I hear a sound, and realise that Kyungsoo is humming. It's a deep, melodic sound, and for a minute I lose myself in it.
I snap back into reality when the humming is replaced by a dark chuckle. Blinking and composing myself, I look up to see Kyungsoo smirking at me. His dark eyes are filled with a conniving look.
"You're so easy." He says coldly. "You won't last a week with us."
I'm surprised by his sudden change and take a step back. Picking up the bucket, I turn my back to him and walk to the table, adding "We'll see about that." as I do.
His taunts continue as I take his plate over to him.
"You're not even qualified for this job, are you? You're probably just here because no one else wanted to be."
"Stop talking." I say, shoving a forkful of food into his mouth. His eyes widen in surprise at my actions.
He keeps his mouth shut after this, seeming to not know how to react to how I deal with him.
Once he's done eating, I signal for he guards to collect him. He goes back to being silent as they drag him out.
(Author's Note: okay so you guys have probably noticed that Chen hasn't really been in this yet. That's because I want to introduce all of the members at first instead of focusing on the romantic storyline. Chen's relationship with the main character will probably develop a bit later in the story, but don't worry, it will happen!)
