After about ten minutes of driving in a small, silent, cramped car, Leo speaks up.

Leo: Do you think we'll get there in time?
Ellie: Yeah. We're only down the road. It's 10:12. That means we have twelve minutes to get there.
Leo: Hold on. Twelve? You mean thirteen?
Ellie: Yeah that's what I said.
Leo: What?
Ellie: I said thirteen.
Leo: You are such a liar.
Ellie: There's a reason I was always in the lowest math sets okay?

Ellie and Leo's conversation brought a slight smile to everyone's faces. At exactly 10:19 they arrive in the school's parking lot. They all got out and stretched their legs. The smell of rotting bodies filled their nostrils.

Ellie: Nice.
Cisco: Incredibly.
Ellie: Jessica, have this. Just in case.

Ellie handed Jess a spare gun. Jess had never handled a real gun before so her heart started beating faster for every second she held the weapon. They patiently waited for Ellie's dad to show up. The clock hit the dreaded time. 10:25 Where was he? From the corner of Ellie's eye she saw and older woman heading towards her. She looked closely and recognized it as her grandma, the woman her dad went to find. Ellie slowly headed towards her, fiddling with her fingers nervously as she approached her.

Ellie: Hello? Are you okay? Is dad okay?

The woman looked into Ellie's eyes. Ellie noticed the tears in the woman's eyes building up slowly.

Ellie's Grandma: He's.... he's dea-

All of a sudden, a loud gunshot was fired. Right in to the back of the older woman's head. Dark red blood splattered all over Ellie's face. Her vision went into slow motion as the woman's body fell to the ground. Ellie, filled with anger and sadness, let out an extremely loud yell.

Ellie: No!

Whilst screaming, she saw the rather large and tough man that killed her family member standing on top of a large van. He had a nasty and dark smirk on his face. The most noticeable thing about him was a long scar across his eye. Ellie brought up her pistol in front of her, aimed and pulled the trigger. The bullet missed the man by an inch. The shot wasn't too bad considering she'd never done it before.

Man: You bastard!
Ellie: Run!

Ellie ran back to the group and hid behind a navy car with no windows. A piece of glass that was sticking out of the window frame stabbed her in the back.

Ellie: Shit!

Ellie threw the gun to Cisco. Cisco caught it perfectly and aimed it towards the man.

Ellie: Kill him!

Ellie grabbed Jessica's wrist and pulled her into the vehicle with her. Nick and Leo followed. Meanwhile, Cisco shot the man, making him fall to the floor. Cisco ran to the car, taking cover behind everything he could. The first thing he saw was Ellie lying down covering the backseats face down. Nick was doing all she could to heal her wound on her back with a rag.

Cisco: You're doing it wrong!
Nick: I'm not!

Cisco snatched the rag from Nick's hand and began treating Ellie's wound himself. Nicholas glared at Cisco with a cold look.

Ellie: Thanks, guys.

After Cisco had stopped the bleeding as best as he could, he pulled away.

Cisco: We need to go. Now. El, I'll drive.

Ellie pushed herself up using all of her strength.
