Cisco, Jess and Nick all ran over to a tall wall which they saw as an opportunity for cover. They loaded their guns up and made sure that they were one hundred percent ready. They took a deep breath and tried to figure out what to do.

Cisco: Okay. As soon as I say, we ha-
Man: Hey!

All three members of the group sharply turn around with their guns drawn. They saw a tall and plump man standing there with his gun pointing towards them. He had an angry but scared look on his face. As if he was trying to look intimidating but the group were intimidating him instead.

Cisco: Fuck.

Cisco had a gut feeling to shoot him. So he did. He fired his machine gun. The bullet hit the man right in the head. His body fell backwards and crashed to the floor. Blood poured from his wound.

Cisco: Holy shit. Okay, we have to save El and get the fuck out of here.
Jess: We really do.
Nick: Let's not just stand here then. Let's go!

The group carefully and quietly begin to search around the camp for any sign of Ellie. They were beginning to lose hope.

Meanwhile, Nova was still back at the camp. She began to get worried. It had been way over the expected time it would take. She began to pace around the enclosured space whilst her palms began to sweat. She gave up waiting and decided to finally make a move. She stormed over to the weapon cupboard and picked up a machine gun.

Nova: Would Cisco kill me if I used this? Probably.

She placed her hand on the cold doorknob and took a deep breath. Her palms were still sweating a ridiculous amount but she had to save her friends. Nova didn't get on with them very well. She wanted to remain closed off until she trusted one of them enough to open up. But that was no excuse to let them die. She nervously walked to the door whilst also picking up the van keys off the table which were next to the door. She was lucky the rest of the group walked instead of drove. She walked outside, took a breath and closed the door.

Nova: Let's do this.

She walked over to the van. With her hands shaking. She opened the door and sat down in the drivers seat.

Nova: Never shot a machine gun. Never drove a van. Awesome.

She stared at the wheel, not knowing what to do. Then, she remembered the keys. So she pushed them into the keyhole, not knowing if it would work. She turned them. The van made a rumbling sound. Nova smiled to herself.

Nova: Okay. Let's go.

She gently placed her foot on the accelerator. It started moving forwards instead of backwards which was not the way she needed to go.

Nova: No no no no... shit

She looked at the gear stick and noticed that a letter said "R".

Nova: "Reverse" right?

She moved the stick to the "R". She took a shot and it worked. The van started to swiftly move backwards. Once she was happy with her place, she put the van in the "forwards" motion. Luckily enough, it moved forwards. She looked towards the ground in front of her, there were many tire tracks and footprints. She decided to follow them. After a while of driving, slipping and losing control, she saw the building. It looked so lifeless and dull. She stopped the van in a random place, cautiously got out and looked up towards the building.

Nova: Jesus Christ.

Nova noticed a man standing at the top of a guard tower which was inside the place. Her heart began to race faster than it was before. She then had an idea. She got her machine gun out and aimed it towards the man's head.
