We walked by the road with no cars on it, I looked up at the big moon in the sky, it was 1:30 in the morning, Rae and I have been walking for about an hour and a half in the big city of Manhattan. I was getting tired so I looked over at Rae who was staring down at her feet, probably zoning out again, then said, "We should take a break, we've been walking for a while."
'That's a good idea' she signed, and we walk over to a park which was empty except for three ladies who looked like they were in their twenties. The one in the middle was wearing a pair of jeans and a white blouse, she had black short hair and a pair of sunglasses on top of her head. They one to the left of her who also had black short hair looked like a business lady, was wearing a knee high boots with a business skirt and button up white shirt. To the right of the lady with sunglasses, she had dyed blond hair, she wore a dark blue pant suit and pink high heels. They all sit on a bench by a big tree.
We walked as far away for the lady's as possible because they were staring at us. We sat on a bench by a kids park with slides and swings.
"I'll take first watch, you get some sleep." I said to Rae.
'You sure?' She signed.
"Ya."I replied, she looked unsure but she lied down on the beach anyway, using her back pack as a pillow and instantly fell asleep.
I started to play with the necklace that my dad gave to me before he died, it was a small heart silver locket, inside it had a picture of him and I on my 6th birthday, he told me to never take it of, and I never did and I never will. I looked around, the city was beautiful at night, with all the lights from the buildings and houses, And the big moon in the sky, lighting up almost everything around it. Then I spotted the three ladies again, the blondie gave me an evil smile.(I have nothing against blondes, I'm a blonde, so is my sis and mom.) Then something odd happened, the one with sunglasses was suddenly on fire, well at least her hair was on fire, and then her eyes turned red and her skin white, she also had fangs, one of her legs looked like a donkey's leg and the other some sort of Metal. Then they all turned into the donkey robot vampire things, and they started to come towards me.
Like it was instinct I grabbed the kitchen knife out of my bag and held it up to them ready to defend myself. Then I remembered that Rea was still asleep.
I started shaking her and yelling her name.
"Rae, REA WAKE UP!" I yelled still shaking her, then looked over at the donkey robots vampires who were getting closer.
"RAE, WAKE UP!"
