A Demi Gods Life

Chapter 5

|Rae's POV|

I was running in a forest out of breath, dirt and cuts all over my body, the cuts stung but I kept running. I looked beside me, Sage was there running as well, she looked out of breath, with cuts and dirt on her as well as me. Then I looked behind me, the was some sort of monster thing, it had what looks like a goat leg and a robotic leg, and fangs!
I was terrified of the monster, but kept running as fast as I could.

There was someone else to, or something I guess, it looked like half donkey and half man. He had brown curly hair and a orange shirt, I think it said Camp Half Blood. He was about my age, maybe older. As we all ran, the monster behind us came closer, before I realized it was an inch from me, then I blacked out.

"RAE, REA WAKE UP!" I herd Sage yell after me dream ended.

I wondered why she was yelling my name, then I look behind her and There's the monster from my dream.
'What is that' I sign.
"Honestly, I have no idea." She says, with a bit of fear in her voice.
"Told you we would need the knife" she says, and grins.
'Your thinking about that now!' I sign, then get up and grab my bag and Sage and I run for our lives.

As Sage and I ran through the streets for a while with the monster behind us, when we bumped into someone.

"Watch it!" The boys says. I look up at him and he is the boy from my dream, except he had normal legs this time.
"No, you watch it!" Sage says, then grabs me and we begin to run again. But the boy stopes us. "Wait, what are you girls running from?" He says.
"You wouldn't believe us if we told you." Says Sage. "Try me." He answers.
"Fine, a monster like thing with a donkey leg and a robot leg with fangs!" Sage says raising her voice. "You two need to come with me, now!" He says. 'What!' I sign. "Why would we ever go with you!" Yells Sage. "What is she doing with her hands?" He says.
"Sign language, and Why Would We Go With You Again?!?!" She yells, while I just watch them ague. "Ok, have you two herd of the Greek Gods?" He says and Sage and I nod. "Well there real and some times the have kids with mortals, which are called half bloods or Demi gods." He explains. "Your insane!" Sage says. "And wouldn't you think I would think your insane if this the Gods weren't real." He say trying to sound smart. 'He has a point you know.' I sign. Sage looks at me like I'm crazy but then agrees and we follow the boy.

As were run towards the forest Sage speaks up. "Hey, we didn't introduce our selves, I'm Sage Harper and this is Rae Wren." "Ben Burrows." He says. Then this is when my dream starts to come true, how do I know that, because we are all running the the three monster things appear in front of us, and attack, I don't have a weapon so I'm basically helpless. On of the monsters come to while Sage and Ben fight the other two. "Hello Demi God, our master will be pleased when we kill you." It hisses. I just stand there shocked, pined up against a tree, why does this have to happen to me, why! Then it grabs me and throws me aside and I hit the ground. Sage runs over to me, some how she was able to kill hers, Ben is still fighting his with a dagger. "You alright?" She asks whilst helping me up. I nod, and Ben comes over after killing the monster he was fighting, the one I was fighting has disappeared. "We need to keep moving" says Ben. "We're almost there." He continues. "We're exactly are we going?" Sage says. "Camp half blood." Ben answers.
"Camp what now."
"Whatever, let's go." And with that we keep running. Whatever camp half blood is, we're going there, hopefully it's safe. Maybe a place I can call home.
