ok but the point of this rant . First off, I hate that everyone is even missing the point of the series. I mean, sure, it sucks that Clay and Hannah didn't get they're happy ending, but that's not the main focus of it.
Suicide is a very serious issue and the fact that people are just completely ignoring that is so fucked up. The point of this story is to bring awareness to what bullying, rumors and "jokes" can lead someone to. People are choosing to completely ignore and just make romantic edits of how "cute" Clay and Hannah would've been, but there's a reason they never became anything.
She was damaged , and sure that wasn't Clay's fault but they weren't meant for each other. And that happens in real life. People have to understand that she didn't want to feel like that anymore, and sadly, the only solution she found was to take her life away.

I didn't think I would cry that much over a show, tbh. Like I cried so bad when her mom walks in and finds her lifeless body in the tub and water just dripping everywhere . Like how she refused to believe that she was gone. THAT FUCKED ME UP.
or how about the fact that Bryce literally said that it was okay to fuck her without her consent just she looked at him like she wanted it. EXCUSE ME BITCH BUT IF THE WORDS "I wanna have sex with you" DID NOT ESCAPE HER LIPS AT ANY POINT, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT ITS OKAY TO FORCE YOUR DICK INTO HER?
or how he raped Jessica. SHE WAS UNCONSCIOUS FOR FUCKS SAKE.
y'all know what pissed me tf off? The fact that when Justin finally had the balls to tell her , she just blamed everything on him. I mean, sure , he shouldn't have shut up about it , especially with something as serious as this, but she just completely ignored that it was Bryce who raped her and just hit and did all this shit to Justin , but she didn't even wanna press charges.
I mean, girl, okay I get you're scared bc of this and it's horrible that this happened to you, but Justin isn't the only one to blame.
and don't even get me started on fucking Tyler. This bitch literally thought it was okay to fucking go to Hannah's room and take pics of her while she was changing .
AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON COURTNEY. This bitch was really so mad at Hannah bc she revealed that she's lesbian in the tapes , that she said that Hannah was lying about Bryce being a racist. THE FACT THAT SHE WAS LIKE THE ONLY GIRL IN THE GROUP APART FROM JESSICA AND SHES SAYING THAT MADE ME SO PISSED OFF. like she literally said this right after Justin confirmed that Bryce had raped Jessica . GIRL .
now let's talk about the ending. THEY BEST BE MAKING SEASON TWO. That ending was so inconclusive. Like it literally ends with the school principal walking in and he tells the counselor guy that Alex shot himself in the head and that he's in critical condition. TF WHAT MADE THE PRODUCERS THINK THAT IT WAS OKAY TO END IT LIKE THAT .
like once I actually finished , I had so many questions about it . things like:
• did the parents win the lawsuit or no ?
• is Alex alive ?
• does Jessica end up having the guts to report him to the police ?
like that end was so weird . it left me with more questions than answers.
and the ending was so much different from the way the book ended. like omg . it wasn't disappointing but it was like wait what just happened?
you know ?
this is probs the longest rant I've done on here but overall, Thirteen Reasons Why was a good show and I recommend it 10/10.
