Things haven't been the same since Bendy and Boris had disappeared. Everyone had pushed it off as them getting into mischief, but it didn't make sense. Two weeks ago Boris had vanished, then a week later Bendy did as well. I was beginning to worry about them. Neither of them would just disappear without telling someone first. That's when I vanished as well. The three of us were brought into a world we never even knew existed. Our black vessels of ink allowed us to walk among this domain. The one responsible for this was a man named Joey Drew. This man was completely demonic. Still, he took care of us. Regardless of him being our creator, we didn't trust him.
When I was first dragged into this world, I was a small black disoriented mass. I woke up in a small room with thick black liquid surrounding me and a machine to my back. My head was pounding and my lungs ached for air. My body involuntarily began to cough up large amounts of the black liquid from my lungs and forced air back in, which made it excruciatingly painful to just even hold myself up from collapsing. I tried to call out for Bendy or Boris, but wasn't able to muster the voice to mutter a word. My whole body felt sore and as if it had been ripped apart and then sown back together. The pain caused my small figure to laid on the floor shaking, trembling just waiting to be found by anyone. I was fortunate enough to have been found by Bendy not long after coming to life. His warm smile gave me hope that I was going to be safe with him in this damned world.
"There ya go, take it easy." Bendy said trying to calm me down.
"Wh-what h-happened?" I asked shuddering, barley producing a sound. Bendy really wasn't able to answer my question. None of us knew what exactly had happened upon entering this world. It was as if we fell asleep in one place and simply woke in another.I still remember it as if it had happened a few hours ago. The suffocating pain seemed to still linger. Each of us had different way of coping with the pain. Boris had his music, Bendy would put on a face to hide it and as for me, I pushed it away into a dark recesses of my mind where I couldn't unlock the memories. Yet, somehow, they would still reemerge to the surface. I wasn't the only one who would remember the smiles of our friends or remember a beloved item we were forced to leave behind. The little things would add up. Little things like my bow, once just an accessory, now became my most treasured possession.
Weeks go by and we started to adjust to this world. Well the Workshop really, we never left the studios. The weeks eventually turned into months and so on. And still, we remain locked away.
"With each day that goes by, we look more and more like prisoners." Bendy said with his hands covering his face, before lowering his hands to gaze at Boris and I.
"I can't agree more." Boris replied blandly. This was unusual for him, he always was happy and bubbly among the three of us. I placed my hand on his arm which grabbed his attention.
"What happened to the brighter side of things?" I asked.
"There is no bright side here. (Y/n)!" Bendy exclaimed frustrated. I can't say I blame him for being upset with these chains of events.
"You don't think I haven't noticed that? The both of you are already acting different and it's been what, a couple weeks? Maybe more?" I sighed before continuing. "It hurt me to see the both of you degrade like this? It's heart wrenching." After I said this the conversation stopped. They eventually did started to realize the small changes.Things started to change. Bendy and Boris started to act the same way as they did when they preformed. I knew that they were only putting on faces to stop my worrying.
One day I was alone with Bendy, walking down the hall towards Joey's office.
"I'm just worried, Bendy. I've never seen you be so, well, paranoid." I said confronting him.
"I know you just want the best for us and trust me I appreciate that you worry about us, but just don't get obsessed with trying to make us happy, okay?" Bendy said this with a furrowed brow. It surprised me, honestly. He never was the type of person to be serious without a smile. I signed before caving in and agreed.Joey had heard us talking outside his office and had opened his door. A shiver shot down my spine as his gaze bounce between Bendy and I. He called Bendy into his office first.
"I'll catch ya later Okay?" Bendy said to me with his goofy smile.
"Alright, see ya." I waved to him before walking back down the hall. After Joey had closed the door I felt another shiver slide down my back. That man, whenever he walked into a room would caused someone to get goosebumps, it sure as hell did for me. I feared for the three of us, we really never been devided up like this before. One by one Joey called each of us into his office and asked a series of questions about our lives, asked if we were comfortable. It was like he was sizing us up, or something. When it was my turn to meet him in his office I plaster a smile on my face like the other two did. It seemed to have worked.
"(Y/n) (L/n)?" Joey asked.
"Yes, Mr. Drew?" I replied.
"Is everything alright?" He asked again.
"Of course! Why wouldn't it be?" I said trying to sound enthusiastic, but a small hint of terror was also present in my voice. He must of picked up on this and started to write down notes. Afterwords he extended his hand out to me.
"Please take my hand." Joey's voice has gotten softer, soothing like. I responded to his request and placed my hand in his. He gentaly began to take my glove off. I had a white smug in the palm of my hand. A birthmark? I never even knew about this. Joey took more notes as I examined the splotch in my hand.
"There's nothing you have to worry about here, my dear. It's completely safe. Now that'll be all, (Y/n)." Joey handed my glove back to me and scooted me out of his office.
"I'm not buying that, Drew." I scoffed before putting my glove back on and regrouping with the others. It was all strange for sure. Why would he ask questions like that? I never fancied him to actually care about any of us, let alone anyone else. What really is going on here?
