Alice slapped my hand away unwilling to accept my kind words. I should have expected as much as this. Even then she was stubborn beyond belief.
"You seriously think I'm going to believe some hag such as you? You probably not even the real (Y/n). Some copy just the rest of us." She said remaining limp on the floor suffering from her wounds though none were deadly, through her lame jaw provided a challenge she still managed to speak these words to me and slandered my name. I commented aggressively back the same persistence she had to inflict misery. Her words did cut me deep, but showing her my pain would only indicate that she already won. I stood my ground, though also with physical injuries myself, Alice was all ready for round two of a futile attempt to demolish me.
"I'm the Hag?" I chuckled with pity. "Have you seen yourself lately or did the mirrors all break when you looked into them?" I had turned away pulling her out of my sight. I had other things to worry about now. Like getting out of here with a crippled wing to boot. I sighed and tried my bed to clean my feathers of the subsistence that was supposed to be under my skin.

After about an hour or so more my chances of aviation was cut in half. I huffed and stretched my wing out to their climax, though now very excruciating. It revealed where chunks were missing. These missing pieces of my wing puzzle only would allow air to slip through rather than provide any propulsion upwards. Alice began to admire this mighty owl like an extension of my frame with quite some fancy, this only enraged her when she realized she spent several minutes staring at my back. She fought through the pain and crept slowly towards me.
"Hey, (Y/n). I'm sorry I jumped you. I've been so alone here by myself. I should have appreciated having someone to talk to." Her voice was sweet and relaxing to the ear. A dark smile covered her features as she stood behind me. I turned to her.
"Alice, you bi-" Before I was able to finish 5 long gashes stretched across my throat and into my trachea. My body grew cold as the ink spilled from my body into the floor.

I laid motionless before Alice who was licking ink off her talons. I could see the devil in her eyes.

Which jolted me awake.
