I remained to hold the Little Darling close and he remained to be unconscious. It has been quite some time now without any signs of life. I stood and folded my wings against my back where they will now remain tucked away for a while to come.

The solidified wall of ink had begun to be broken through and rather close to my head if I might add. After a few more swings made by a persistent Henry, the wall deformed into a wave of ink. Both the men looked onwards and noticed the small limp figure caught in my embrace. Boris was eccentric when he saw his old friend finally looking like himself. On the other hand, Henry expressed his true thoughts about the situation. His tone was condemning and I don't blame him for his feelings, but if we ever have a chance of getting out, Bendy would know more about the studio than I and Boris combined. Surely by now, his trust in me had shrunk drastically. There was simply no other choice to be made, we couldn't simply to tiptoe around the situation. We can't remain still for too long, we'd have to continue to stomp our way through like we have been doing.

I let out an irritated sigh before we got underway again. This vicious cycle was taking a toll on the only human of our flotsam group. I guess a band of misfits is more accurate when describing us. It had been quite some time that passed before the dark prince stirred from his slumber. Though groggy, he presented intelligent cognitive. This naturally sparked happiness into Boris who was consumed by glee. I was a bit timid towards him at first, of course, I had reasons to be.
"Why don't both of you go out and make sure nothing is looming about?" I asked with a delicate tone trying not to offend. Thankfully, I didn't manage to do so.
"If anything happens to you, yell. Alright?" Henry said through an irritated yet concerned voice. Boris and Henry left and the room was stone dead with silence. Typical.

The men were faced with a new threat, beings that we are left in the dark about now roamed freely around the halls. A group of villains our "Creator" so kind to provide. I knew them quite well actually, before being dragged here. They are a vicious lot to get tangled with, especially when I played the damsel in distress a couple of times on the silver screen.

For the most part, Bendy and I were left alone, but unfortunately for Henry, he had to defend himself with an old wrench. The men came back earlier than I had anticipated, maybe it was for the better that they did. The Butcher Gang was starting to attack us. Henry was able to see what strength I was capable of possessing. One of the grotesque figures came within the fringe of my space whaling around. I shifted my body to the right until I was perpendicular to the wall, then my left-wing shoot out towards him with such might that the wall had a reminiscence outline of his physical form. Under the feathers must have been massive muscles to provide such a violent outcome. I honestly did mean to hit him that hard.
"Oops." I whispered covering my mouth nervously.
"Remind me not to piss you off." Henry said with a hint of horror in his voice.
"Dudley noted." My voice also hosted the same level of horror as Henry's did. Honestly, it was unnerving.

A particular small frame saw the mighty act of protection. The first thing he saw when looking through his own eyes after many years of torment. It was kinda romantic in his eyes. Though no words were exchanged, something beat in his chest and made him feel alive. It must have been an exhilarating experience to feel compassion again. He remained quiet for a long while though, probably out of fear of judgment.

Some time passed and we ended up hunkering down for a while in a safe house Boris set up quite some time ago. Henry had gotten injured and we all thought it would be good for him to rest for a while. As I tended his wounds Boris kept an eye out for any rampaging ink dwellers. Bendy, on the other hand, remained docile, I was getting worried that maybe this was all too much for him. To my surprise, I often caught him looking at me with a fascinated look about his features. Once he would sense my gaze he would turn away or look onward.

While Henry was resting I approached him. At first, he tried to back away into a corner frightened by the light. But he took a shining to it. It could have been cause it was warm in this place. He was rather tired after all the excitement and he's earned the right to rest as well. He eventually crawled into my arms and used me as a pillow. He showed signs of aging. This caused a look of concern to present its self upon my face. It was rather odd, how would this even be possible?

I placed my left hand upon his cheek and rubbed my thumb over it gently. Before I did, a black stream flowed down from his eye, glistening in the light that was produced from my halo hovering above. A few seconds passed before his eyes fluttered open looking deep into mine. His mind was at ease and so was mine with something that seemed long lost before now. I kissed his forehead softly and received a slight smile before Bendy fell into a deep sleep. Boris had watched from a safe distance approving of the kind acts before him, but he was right. It isn't going to be Bendy that's gonna kill me.

It's going to be love.
