I placed Bendy next to Henry to rest. I refused to sleep even though Boris was desperately trying to make me. A sinking feeling was just another reason to stay awake. It's not like I slept a lot anyway, to begin with.
While Boris wasn't looking I snuck off into the catacombs to pave a way for the man to follow later on. A rather familiar presence was lingering around the walls here. As I began to gawk I was unaware of my location. Then a sign makes itself known. The Toy Division. My heart hit the floor when I saw the plush doll scattered about the floor, one, in particular, stood out. A woman in a black dress with a white ring attacked her head. It wasn't me, that was for sure. I picked it up gently and watched some ink drip off the plush cloth. With the years of rot, it remained fragile in my hands. It resembled Alice. A wave of confusion swept over me.
"Why are you here? You didn't come to life, did you?" I muttered in a soft monotone. I continued onward with the doll cradled in my hands. The high ceilings provided enough room to allow me to propel myself upwards to higher levels that were blocked off. Each disturbing sight after another makes me question if this was a good idea. It seemed more dangerous the farther I got into the Toy Division. Especially with the dwellers attacking now and again. Though they were no match, they became extremely annoying to deal with constantly.
"Where are you all coming from!?" I exclaimed, expressing all my annoyance into a quick session of my voice. They pushed me towards an area with an elevator and vanished afterward. Soon after a voice boomed overhead through the speakers. I was quite surprised that they even worked, but the owner of the voice surprised me even more. Her words tore me from the inside out. My shock left me rather light-headed. My dear Alice was alive? Not even for a second did I doubt that she was the sweet angel I knew. The expression in her two-toned voice was enough evidence to express that she wasn't completely collected in the head. Though sweet at times her voice would change on a dime to a dark possessed lower melody. Thankfully she didn't know who was approaching her door.
I followed her command and entered her domain. It was quite clean, compared to the rest of the studios, anyway. Above the door to her little isolation of "heaven" was a sign that said, "She's Quite a Gal". Below was a door, wide open. Hesitantly I approached with utmost causation of what lurked beyond. The ill-lit room was hard to adjust to. It took several short moments to pass the threshold, which then slammed shut causing me to jump when the loud bang was produced. The eerie music began to play from the farthest point away from me.
"This is not what I need right now." I approached looking about hastily for the perpetrator who caused this. She revealed herself after I looked into a small diorama booth. Her fists bashed against the glass causing it to crack under her might. But something put her at ease before breaking the tempered glass.
"I remember you." Alice said with her sweet tone before it turned into a more sinister manner "You left without a trace. I was all alone!" She finished smashing the glass and pinned me to the floor. Her icy hands wrapped around my neck tightly and were getting tighter. Seeing her like this took my breath away. In this case literally. Fortunately, I was able to land the right hook on her. I gasped for air and placed my hand over my throat.Instantly, both of us got verbal. Alice more than myself, considering I was still trying to fill my lungs with the sweet taste of air. It was like a demonic hiss was sent through her with each word she spoke. My countenance changed from anger into sympathy. She easily took advantage of my selflessness and tackled me back down. Her long black nails snuck into my skin and across my back. Shortly after she was slammed into the wall with white feathers scattered about before her. My right-wing laid limp on the floor oozing the white-colored ink that composed them, my feathers now matted together disabling me from the hit. The halo above my head flickered as the pain progressed through my frame.
I held my position and waited for Alice's next move. When she saw I wasn't gonna cave in she compiled a blood curtailing scream so loud that the glass in other dioramas shattered. My defense was lowered when my ears began to ring. After, my body was slammed into the heavy door causing it to buckle. My head was repeatedly slammed against it several times before I had been able to mentally retaliated. Alice winced from a broken arm that I had inflicted upon her. Then a broken jaw proceeded by a few concaved ribs. I was on top holding her down with my knee to her throat.
"What has become of you, Angel?" I said. "You say you remember me, but you attack as if I'm the assailant?" She tried to strike again but failed.I had eased up on her and allowed her to breathe easier, she then confessed herself. A more "perfect" Alice Angel. She had her doubt about it but revealed after seeing me that it all was possible to be perfect.
"I am not some modification, Alice." I had lifted my weight off her throat and stood above her glaring a bitter countenance upon her. "No one is perfect. Even I was possessed by Bendy and attacked my friends." I extended my hand down to her."Darlin' you just gotta believe in yourself."
