Napalunok naman ako dahil sa kahihiyan, ba't pa kasi ako sumigaw? It's not like gusto ko si Daniel... ang gwapo lang talaga niya.

Gusto ko si Nephan. Si Nephan, end of story. Napahilamos naman ako sa aking mukha, frustrated be like. Si Nephan kasi 'yung tipong lalaki na masasabi mo na 'Siya na. Siya na 'yung lalaki na nakalaan sa'kin.' hindi ko pa naman siya lubos na kilala pero nararamdaman ko na siya ay mabait, at di matalino. But despite that si Daniel naman ay maypagka-baliw na hindi mo maintindihan? Ang moody niya. Basta si Nephan talaga gusto ko. Ugh.

Mga ilang minuto pa ang nakalipas ay nagsimula nang magklase si Ma'am Clara. Ganun na ba kalalim ang inisip ko para hindi ko mapansin ang pagpasok ni Ma'am Clara sa classroom?

"Okay class! Read what's written on the board!" stress na sigaw ni Ma'am Clara sa classroom dahilan para mapaigtad ang mga kaklase ko sa gulat.

"A... B... C... D---"

"Wait wait wait! Are you really serious about this Ma'am?" nakataas kilay na tanong ni Sophie kay Ma'am Clara. "Like hello? We ain't kindergartens anymore!" dagdag pa niya.

"Sophie come in the front and recite multiplication 12!" galit na sigaw ni Ma'am sa kanya, "I'll rewrite."

"B-But you're supposed to be our History teacher not Math!" sibat ni Sophie, tinaasan naman siya ng kilay ni Ma'am.

"I'm the homeroom teacher, I'll teach what subject I want and you'll follow my orders, now recite or squat with seven books?"

"12, 24, 36..." pagsuko ni Sophie at labag sa loob na nagre-recite.

"Open your history books and turn to page 365, there's a lyrics there and the song called 'Imagine' by John Lennon, try to guess the tone of the song and sing it in front of the whole class. Goddam teachers never pass the gradesheets on time, but when they will all grades are blank!"

Kinuha ko 'yung History book ko at ibinuklat ko iyon sa pahenang 365.

"On second thought..." buntong hininga ni Ma'am, "Daniel Ranada "our little teacher" for this week will be joining us for some reason." nag-aalangan niyang announce.

Namayani ang katahimakan ng ilang minuto.

"Ano daw beshy?" narinig kong tanong ng kaklase kong babae.

"Sabi ni Ma'am si Daniel..." napahinto naman ang isa ko pang kaklase na babae sa pagsagot. "OMG! DANIEL RANADA WILL BE JOINING US!" kilig na sigaw niya.
