"Remus, I get why you skip school every month" moaned Sirius, rubbing his forehead as he and Remus laid on the sofas while Peter, James, Lily and Sev were in their classes. Remus was in his blue-striped pyjamas that showed way too much ankle and was reading an astrology book, his eyes twitching madly behind his blue glasses. Sirius was in his impossibly tight black t-shirt and pyjama trousers, painting his nails black. "This is the worst hangover I have ever had."
"Tell me about it," said Remus. He still felt incredibly guilty about what happened to him, but he had been told by an impatient Sirius to stop apologising and that he really didn't mind, he liked the fact he would be able to accompany him now. "You want to go nap with me?"
Sirius debated on whether or not he could survive the jeers of his friends if he woke up with his boyfriend again, but on the other hand, they wouldn't dare mess with them after James decided to break his bargain with the two of them, and got Remus to write his essay, consequently getting a two-hour detention during a quidditch match for "cheek". So he shrugged, and went along with Sirius to their dormitory, falling onto the nearest bed, before snuggling up, Sirius's arms wrapped around his waist. "Good night Wolf Boy"

"Come on boys, it's through the shrieking shack, as always," said Madame Pomferey later on that evening, leading them through the trees, her wand illuminating the path they had made from all these trecks to and from the tree for all those years. Sirius couldn't pretend he wasn't nervous- he was breaking out in cold sweats, his eyes madly darting about in the darkness. Remus was slightly less agitated for once, he had of course done this many times before, but he still hated the process more than anything. The three of them crawled through the tiny passage, and Remus sat on the floor to tie himself up, while Madame Pomferey made a new set, and calmly showed him how to buckle the massive leather belt around his waist then chain himself to the floor.
"That's right, now take off your shoes- you'll regret it later if you don't." He did as he was told, and laid on the floor next to Remus, who had one arm under his head to try and soften the hard, wooden floor. "Good night boys, I'll put your wands in the cupboard over there, then lock the trapdoor. I'll be back in the morning, sleep well." They nodded and she walked out, locking the door and casting a Muffilato spell (because of what happened last time- she couldn't afford for half the school to be locked in there), whilst feeling bad for the boys now imprisoned in the shack, especially the boy who was completely new to all this and to whom all this was terrifying, which he hated to show.
"Remus?" he gasped, too tightly bound to move far. "Remus, I can't breathe."
Alarmed, Remus scuttled along to floor to him and tried to calm him down. "No, Sirius, it's ok, you're just having a panic attack, it's fine."
"No, I am convinced I am dying" he declared, feeling as though he was paralysed from the neck down. Remus reached out as far as he could and held his hand out. Sirius stayed frozen, so Remus sighed, and unbuckled himself, his skin starting to burn, which he knew was the first symptom, and that Sirius would be most likely to be feeling the same. "Moony, what's going on?"
"It's stage one. Don't worry, it'll be over soon." he cried through gritted teeth. Sirius tried in vain to suppress his yells, and Remus tried one last attempt to stretch out his hand. Sirius grabbed it and squeezed it tight, every muscle in his body clenched, his eyes screwed up tight. Then he began to feel madly dizzy, far more than earlier, everything swooping up and down in a mad merry go round until he began to feel sick. His blood began to boil, and hot flushes flew about his body, sweat lying in between their clasped hands.
"We're halfway there" shouted Remus above Sirius's badly suppressed howls, his exposed hand trying to feverishly tie himself back up again before he wouldn't be able to. His legs felt as though they were in a vice, stretching them out disproportionately and hair pierced through his skin. His pupils dilated and his whole face morphed, his teeth grotesquely yellow and pointed.
