"Keefe," I say with no emotion.
"Oh come on, loosen up a bit Foster," says Keefe with a teasing smile.
I just stare at him with a blank face, making him see that this is not the time to joke around. He suddenly stops and shakes his head, mumbling something under his breath. That I can't quite catch. From behind me I hear a cough. I realize that Fitz is standing there, staring intensely at Keefe, eyes narrowed.
"Ok now that we're done with catch up time how about we go up to my room talk," Fitz suggests.
"Sure." We all say.
As we pass the back door Linh says, "Did you guys burn something?"
"Oh yah..um, that's a story for another time." I mumble not really in the mood to tell the story again.
"Ooo, you get in trouble again Foster," Keefe says coming up beside me and putting his arm around my shoulder.
"Um no," Fitz says out of the blue, taking Keefe arm off of my shoulder and separating us as we walk into Fitz's room.
Me and Fitz sit on his bed well the others find a spot to sit. I grab Mr. Snuggles off his sheets and hold him close to me.
"Ok, why are we here?" Asked Tam.
Fitz looked over at me asking for permission. I just gave him a nod.
"Well I went up here to get a t-shirt after the events downstairs, and I found a note from the Black Swan."
I'm so sorry for taking so long, I have no excuses. I'll try and do the next chapter as fast as I can. Bye🦄🐺
