I lie there past out on the couch stomach full and hurting. Why must food taste so good? Slowly siting up on my elbows, I turn my head to see if anyone's still with me. And guess what? No ones there! Just leaving me with all the dirty dishes, looks like I'm gonna be the mom kid in this house hold. Getting up from the couch I make my way over to the kitchen sink and start working on the mountain of dishes. Once I'm done, taking all of 15 minutes, I decide to go outside, walking onto the deck. Leaning on my elbows on the railing listening to the sounds on the afternoon come and go. Closing my eyes I hear the birds chirping and the wind blowing. But most of all the distant sounds of cars. Thinking back to the good old days when I rode every day, like a normal everyday thing but now they seem like outer space technology. I'm glad Mr. Forkle programmed the car to drive itself to the place you put in the GPS.

Behind me I hear the door open and close, followed by footsteps coming up behinds me.

"So now I know what it feels like to be a human," says Tam beside me.

"My dear friend this isn't even half of what it feels like."

"Wow that's encouraging."

"Don't worry it will definitely get easier once we start school in 2 days."

"Thanks for reminding there Soph," he says in a sarcastic tone," by the way I was wondering were your room, no one knows we're it is?"

"That my dear friend I can't tell you."

"But why?'

"Cause I don't have to tell you."

"Ugh, fine."

In silence we stand there by the railing, listening to the late afternoon sounds and feeling the heat radiating off the sun deck. Sighing I quietly make my way back into the house. Knowing that everyone's doing there own thing I decide to go to the garage and look at the cars. Hopping down the steps to the garage door. Clicking the buzzer, once opened I stand there,

"Holy shiznits."
