I paced around my room checking if I had everything. I was going back to the Forbidden cities, the place I grew up. Also I get to see my sister again and we get to go to school together, I am so happy. I dance around my room with excitement. Of course I'm worried, I mean wouldn't you be. I look out my window thinking of long this adventure will be and what life will throw our way. As long as have my friends I'm good.
I grab some of my stuff and start bringing down stairs. In total I was 3 trips up and down. Why can't elves have elevators.
"Sophie come here for a second," my mom, Edaline, calls from the kitchen.
"Coming."
I run down the hall towards the kitchen. I see my parents sitting at the counter with a large box with a ribbon at there side.
"What's going on?"
"Well we thought we'd get you a present to remember us by," Grady seid.
"You realize I'm coming back right?"
"Oh, we know just open it already," Edaline says.
"Ok, ok."
I go over to the box. I struggle to get the ribbon off. Once I get it off, I slowly open the lid. I gasp in surprise.
Inside the box, is a little animal that looked like a wolf and dog mix. It looked like it was still a puppy, it was huge. I LOVE IT!
"OMG HE'S ADORABLE!"
My parents just laugh at my response. I picked him up to look at him more closely.
Oh, boy is he heavy. He starts to lick my face with his rough tongue. I giggle.
"What's his breed?"
" He's a Tatlic wolf mix."
"What's his name?"
"We were thinking that you could name him."
My eyes light up at the sound of that. Try and think of names that would suit him. Then a name pops into my mind.
"Bruno."
