I can honestly say I feel like a mother with them, teaching them new things, cleaning up after them and being proud when they figure a human thing out. I knew it was gonna be hard for them to adjust to their new life here but when fall comes so dose school. Sure I guess you could say it's a little easier than Foxfire but then again it's the social groups and catty bitches you gotta look out for. Being the 12 year girl I was and graduating higher then the seniors definitely made my life hell, but now I have friends help me through it.
It's already 10:30 and everyone's gone to bed, why can't I?Walking around the kitchen in a daze I open cupboards, get a snack and plop myself on the couch. Taking the fluffy Bed, Bath &Beyond blanket and Ella I curl into a ball. Flicking on NETFLIX I start watching Gossip Girl. I stay like this for a least another hour.
"God, why can't Blair and Chuck just say it already, their clearly in love with each other!" Throwing my the last of my popcorn kernels at the tv. "I know right, like just get on with it."
I jump at the sudden voice, flinging my blanket to the side and falling off the couch. Looking to the door way I see Biana standing there, silently laughing her head off at the scene that just unfolded in front of her.
" Wow If I'd known you were this jumpy I wouldn't have been so sneaky," Biana says while wiping a tear from her eye. She walks down the steps into the living room and makes her way to the couch, where she sit crosses legged beside me. Looking at her up close you can tell she's woken from a restless sleep. Her wavy brown hair was in a quick, loose ponytail while she wore simple lavender purple pj shorts with a loose fitting hoodie. Face was free of makeup but still as beautiful as ever.
" Haha very funny, but what are you doing up this late?"
" I could be asking you the exact same thing, staying up this late you'll get even bigger bags under your eyes, ya know."
"Always pointing out the little irrelevant things."
Laughing, "Well someone has to in this house and it can't be Keefe, he'll just turn everyone into clones of him."
"Well we can't let that happen, now can we," I say while picking the fluffy blanket off the ground and draping it over our lags.
"So do you want to tell me why your still up at this hour and how I can help?" Turing towards me and prolong her elbow up on the couch.
"If you want the honest truth, it's because I'm over thinking the little things and the way you can help me is watching the rest of this episode with me."
Giggling at my silly demand she nods and gets up. I look at her confused and am gonna ask why she's getting up. Noticing this my face, "Calm down I'm just getting snacks, if I'm being forced to watch this show with you I might as well have food." Scurrying into the kitchen she comes back a few minutes later with two bowls of microwave popcorn and two cans of pop. Handing me my bowl, she sits down and gets comfy.
"Ok were just watching one episode and then we're going straight to bed, got it?" Biana says with a stern look. Nodding my head in approval scared to know what the consequences if I said no. Pressing play we begin watching. ———————————————————— I know this is short and not an action packed filled chapter and I'm sorry for being dormant. I haven't had any creative ideas or thoughts which is why I haven't updated in over two years.
