It has been fifteen years since the death of Grace Hollander. She was a perfect daughter, sibling and friend.

Hunter finally got the pluck to ask Ella out with him. They went on numerous dates and became each others rock which probably saved Ella from death. After graduation, Ella and Hunter finally moved out of Ella's old house and into a new apartment not to far away from their friends. After another two years being together, Hunter finally popped the question after dating for seven years. Another eight years later, they moved into a larger house to accommodate them and their two children, Gracie and Thomas.
After nearly two years of being mute both David and Alexa got their voices back. Being able to voice their opinions again, Alexa told David her feelings for him. They dated for three years before breaking it off after stress related problems. Alexa is now dating her boss' son and they are expecting their first child in May. David went downhill though. His stress and problems become so troublesome he turned to alcohol and now drinks his life away waking up in a gutter every few days.
Gabriella, even though she was surrounded by people who loved her, felt as if she was alone. Swimming at the bottom of the ocean with no way to resurface again. She was drowning in her own troubles and sorrows. Her self harm got worse and suicidal thoughts began to cloud her mind. She thought everybody hated her and she hated life. It dealt her a bad hand. Her parents were concerned so much she went to a rehab clinic where they treated her for depression. There it was discovered she had schizophrenia. With her mind being torn and plagued, Gabriella had, had enough and just six months after Grace's passing, Gabriella had killed herself.
Matthew became very protective of his heart after it being smashed by his sisters quick death. He, getting older, had girlfriends but he couldn't give out his glass heart for fear of it being broken. Eventually at the age of twenty-two, eight years after Grace's passing, he found one girl to lend his heart too. Her name was Mindy and she was a criminal. She stole his heart just like he stole hers. Another seven years down the line, Matthew and Mindy have two children and a third on the way.
Eric and Raynee miss their daughter but learnt to continue with their lives. They set up a fund for children with drinking problems as it was the drinking that really caused all this mess in the first place. That and the stupidity that Grace held, trying to impress people.
