Chapter 17

Millie

Today was our second day camping.  We haven't seen those girls, Grace and Maddie, since yesterday, but they did invite us over.  "You ready to go to Grace and Maddie's?"  Finn asked; he also knew how I felt about the fans, so he was trying his best to keep me happy. 

"Yeah, I guess..."   I trailed off sighing.

"Don't worry; just try to have fun."  He smiled.

"Common!  Lets go!"  Noah yelled lacing fingers and pulling me away from Finn.  As we were walking down the road to their camp sight  Noah must've noticed that I wasn't talking, " Don't worry when you get to know them their supper nice!"  Noah said with a huge cheesy smile.; I just smiled back at him.

As soon as we got to Maddie and Grace's, Noah immediately unlaced our fingers and ran over to Grace, and left me standing alone.  Everybody was either already was sitting at the fire, or as in Noah's case was was with Grace.  Finn walked over to me with a soft smile of his smile.  "Com'on Mills." He reached his hand out to me.  I smiled and quickly took his hand.

As we walked over to the camp fire; Maddie looked at Finn and my hands.  "Ooo. What's going on with you two?"  She said.  I quickly tried to pull my hand away, but Finn tightened his grip; not so it hurt me, but basically to keep me form going back to our camp sight, and he knows I would, too.

"No, we're just really good friends."  Finn says and I smiled agreeing with him.

"With benefits?" Grace added wiggling her eyebrows.  Finn and I both rolled our eyes, and sat down by the fire.

"Noah! You got marshmallow on me!"  Grace shrieked; as Noah fed her a smore. I rolled my eyes, scoffed at how close they are.

Finn, Gaten, Caleb, and I were all walking back to our sight, and Noah was still with Grace.  "So, Mills; I saw that you got irritated when Noah and Grace were all over each other."  Finn brought up.  I frowned and nodded my head.

"Why did you do that; I guess that's we're asking." Caleb asked.

I sighed;  "Well,  I guess it's because you guys are the only boys I've ever been friends; all the other guys just think I'm weird.  So, I hate that I don't know it's stupid, b-but-"  tears started to threatened to fall, " We were so close and now another g-girl took him away." I stuttered my tears now falling.

"Mills, it will be okay."  Gaten pulled me into a hug.

Noah came running up to us, "Guys! Guys!  Guess what?!  I just asked Grace to be my girlfriend and she said yes!"  I yelled as he ran back to Grace; not even noticing that I was crying.
