A body. A body in the basement. I slowly inch closer. A boy. This is getting really weird. He doesn't look very realistic, but i sure as hell don't want to find more like him. I bolt up the stairs and plop down on the couch. What if Ryan took him and killed him? What if I have the same fate? I have to investigate Ryan's room for anything suspicious. I run up to the second floor to his room and start digging through the drawers. There's no kind of murder weapon.
I hear the front door click open. Ryan's back from practice. I don't know what he'll do if he catches me in here. I go to my room as quickly and quietly as I possibly can.
"Megan? Are you up there?" I hear him yell.
"Yeah. I'll come down in just a sec." I run down to the kitchen to see him standing with Hinostroza.
   "Hi Ryan. Hi Vinnie."
   "Hey Megan," says Ryan.
   "How was practice?" I ask.
   "Good," they both say.
   "Ryan, I was wondering..."
   "Yeah?"
   "Was there anywhere in the house you didn't want me to go in?"
   "No, I don't really care," he replies.
   "That's good because I went down into the basement," he starts to turn a bit red. "Why is there a body down there?"
   "Oh...um...yeah...That's just a dummy I practice punching so that during a game when I actually have to fight someone I don't make a fool of myself. I don't really use them much anymore though..." he hesitated at first, and he doesn't seem super sure of himself. I don't know whether or not to believe him.
"Ok whatever you say," I respond. He's SO red right now.
"Bye Vinnie," he says as Vinnie walks toward the door.
"Bye Vinnie," I say. I didn't notice he was leaving. Lost in thought I suppose.
"Bye Megan. Bye Ryan." Ryan goes over to him and whispers something, but I can't hear what.

~~~~~~~~~<Ryan's POV>~~~~~~~~~~
Shit. Megan found out. I can't tell her the truth about the body, can I? I mean, it's a body and she's the kind of person that would tell the cops. That's the last thing I want. I can't be kept from playing hockey. It's my life. No one can know the truth. Not Megan, not Vinnie, no one. I hope Vinnie believed my lie.
When Megan asked about it, I felt myself go red. I really hope that didn't give me away.
Vinnie's been acting weird whenever I'm with Megan, almost as if... no... he wouldn't... Is he jealous? Does he like Megan? When he left, I made sure to tell him she was MINE. I fell in love with her when I first saw her. So I took her.
I ensured that he knew she was mine right when he left by whispering it in his ear. If he tries anything...
"Megan, wanna go hang out in my room?" I ask.
"Sure, I guess," she replies. I'm still not over the fact that she left my room last night. I almost had her!
We get up to my room and a lay down onto my bed, making sure there's room for her next to me.
"This isn't gonna end up like it did last night, is it?" she asks.
   "And what if it does?" I reply.
   "I don't know. We're practically strangers and it seems immoral to sleep with someone you don't really know."
   "Then let's get to know each other better." I move closer to her. Those lips are almost calling me to come even closer. Her hazel eyes gaze deep into my soul, screaming at me to make a move. She's so... beautiful. I bite my lip, hoping she takes the hint. She breaks the gaze. Apparently she doesn't feel the same way.
"So whatcha wanna do?" she asks. Well, obviously I'm thinking about kissing her, but I doubt she'd like that as an answer.
"Let's Netflix and chill." She rolls her eyes.
"Only if it actually means 'Netflix and Chill.' Nothing else."
"Ok," I reply. She's gonna play hard to get? Fine. Two can play at that game. I slowly move away from her in hopes that she won't notice. "What do you want to watch on Netflix?" I ask her.
"Let's watch Stranger Things or something like that." Good. I'm glad she doesn't want to watch some girlie romcom or anything.
"Works for me. I've been wanting to watch that."
"YOU HAVENT SEEN IT?!?" she almost shouts.
"No I haven't. I'm either too busy playing hockey, hanging out with the boys, or I'm on the road."
"Damn. You didn't do much before me did you."
"No, I guess I didn't." Once again, we start gazing at each other intensely. This time, she's the one biting her lip. You know what? Screw the hard to get stuff. I go in for the kiss. I love the taste of her soft lips. I don't want to rush, so I pull away after a few seconds. Her smile is so bright. I'm glad I made her feel happy.
~~~~~~~~~~<Megan's POV>~~~~~~~~~~~

   He finally kissed me! I can't believe it. I've been waiting for this moment. I'm smiling so widely, despite the fact I'm trying to hide it. That was actually my first kiss, but I don't want him to know that. What a night. The funn part is that I said I didn't want him to kiss me; I just wanted to watch tv. Now, I actually don't mind Ryan so much.
   "Did you like that?" He asks. He seems nervous, but he's trying to hide it, so I'm not going to point it out.
   "Yeah," I say slightly giggly. I don't want to seem immature, but oh well. He swoops to my face and kisses me, but this time, it's more passionate. I feel his tongue on my mouth, but I don't feel like permitting to that yet. I want to keep myself somewhat reserved. He releases, looking a little disappointed.
   "I'm sorry," I say.
   "No, no. It's fine," he replies. I feel a burning sensation in my heart. Is this what love feels like? Am I falling for my kidnapper?
