Ugh. I need coffee. I woke up feeling very tired. I'm so not in the mood to practice but I guess if I want to make it, I have to go. Hey, maybe I'll be able to see Ryan again at the coffee shop or maybe even the rink.
I get dressed and head towards the local shop. I walk in and order my usual. Ryan isn't here, but what were the chances that he would be? I was just too optimistic.
I slowly walk out in hopes that he might walk in. Wait. Is that him over there? Wavy brown hair? Check. (No pun intended😂)Same height as Ryan. I walk by the guy to see if it's Ryan or not. Nope. Oh well. Why am I so obsessed with him? I'm starting to see him in everyone.
I start my way to the rink. I need this coffee. The familiar feeling of fatigue is consuming my eyelids. Thank God for caffeine.

    ***Later at the rink***

I lace up my skates as Sara shouts at me to hurry up. I'm starting to think that this is something she wants more than I do. Don't get me wrong. I love skating, but this is a lot of work, especially the lack of sleep.
We're working on my routine when out of the corner of my eye I see the wavy brown hair that I'm starting to see everywhere I go. No. It can't be him. If I look to see, Sara will tell me not to get distracted but if I don't turn I will never know if it was him or not. I know. I'll do a spin where I can look in his direction if it's him or not.
It's him. I'm not sure if I should say hi or not. I need to train, but I think I might be falling for him. If he's still here after practice I'll say hi.
I feel like I'm working twice as hard right now because he might be watching me and I don't want to embarrass myself. I worked on a few tricks and landed most of hem correctly. Sara told me I had to perform just like this in tryouts.

***After Practice***

Ryan is still here so I walk by slowly to see if he shows any signs of recognition.
"Hey Megan," he says.
"Hey you remember my name," I say with a sarcastic laugh.
"Of course. I could never forget. I saw you at the game the other day."
"Yeah thanks for the puck. I thought you looked familiar when we first met," I replied.
Ryan laughs. "I was wondering if... maybe... you wanted to go to dinner with me tonight? Nothing fancy or anything, but..."
     "I thought you'd never ask."
