Your Pov

A month had passed since Alexander had been shot, he was nearly fully recovered and he and Eliza were getting married in a week!

James Hegarty, the man that attacked me and shot Alexander after robbing a local jeweller's, was apprehended by Charles Lee and taken to court for a trial, turns out he pled guilty and after the jury watched a few CCTV camera footage, he was immediately taken to a prison quite a way away from here. He is now in prison and under surveillance.

As for me... Well, the boys and I are preparing for an upcoming war with England, we've been in the compound preparing for three weeks and we go to war in six weeks. That basically leaves us no time what-so-ever to get ready, that means lots of work for Hamilsquad!
As for Lafayette and I, we have been together since the hospital trip and constantly get teased by the rest of Hamilsquad about it.

I laughed, slowly lurked up the stairs to his room, I opened his door slightly... He was in the closet with the door closed. I crawled towards the closet door and slowly and creepily, opened it. He was curled up in a ball shaking his head with his eyes closed.

"Rawr!"
"Y/n" He whined, "I don't want to do it!"
"Alex-"
"I mean, what if I fuck up?"
"Alex-!"
"W-What if he hates me even more?"
"Alexander!"
"What if I'm not allowed to marry 'Liza?"
"Hamilton!" I snapped, he looked up at me, wide-eyed. Then he smiled ever-so-slightly, I tilted my head in confusion at him.

"That doesn't work!" He smiled, tears still in his dull eyes. His hair was a mess, poking out in random directions.
"What?" I responded

"It doesn't work, Y/n your practically my sister. So you are a Hamilton, maybe not by blood but at heart, plus on your drivers' license your name is Y/n Hamilton, you're definitely a Hamilton at heart!" He exclaimed, causing me to sigh, but smile through it.

"Alexander, I promise you, you will be the best groom America has ever seen! John and I will also be the best 'Best Men', everything will go well. I promise you"

It was the day of Eliza Schuyler's and Alexander Hamilton's wedding and Alex was to speak with Phillip Schuyler, before the wedding. This is the reasoning behind the Caribbean's breakdown.

"Sis, I'm fuckin' terrified, I haven't been this scared since George fell off the car roof while Lee was driving it!" He stuttered, a panicked look glossed over his eyes.
I pulled him out of the closet and into a hug.

I pulled him in front of me, ran a hand through his messy hair, (in an attempt to make it look better) and straightened his tie.

He pulled me close to him, "Y/n, will you come with me, to talk to Eliza's father?"
He sounded genuinely terrified and in need of comforting, too bad it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.
"Huh," I sighed, "Yeah, I'll go with ya, Ham!"
I responded as we made our way out the room, then, suddenly Alex stopped me.
"Y/n, wait!"
I turned to him, "What?" I watched as he ran back into the room, then back out again.
"Here, my mother gave it to me before she died and said, "Alexander, I want you to give this to a very special woman in your life. Not your wife, but a close friend,"... I think she meant you, Y/n"

He handed me a small box, inside it held a little devil character and smiled, "I figured you are more of a trouble maker than me,"
Then he reached for a chain that was wrapped around his neck and lifted up a small angel like figure.
"I didn't even notice that you had that on!" I exclaimed.
"Well, I did hide it down my shirt. Now, let us proceed to greatness!" He struck out his arm and marched down the stairs.
"Says they guy that was terrified minutes ago!" I called after him, running to catch up.
