Sherlock retreats to his flat for a few weeks, making no contact whatsoever with the outside world. John retires back into his own home, doing dad stuff like playing with Rosie.

Sherlock's mind couldn't rest knowing that Crimson Rose was planning something big. He anticipates for her next move hoping he could catch her once and for all. But did he really want the race to end? The excitement of a good case? Did he really want to finish it? It was like a puzzle, you're determined to finish it at first but once you're done there's nothing left to do. Do you put it away? Take it apart? Frame your achievement? The fun is over and you're left with the residue, the lingering feeling.

Sherlock's flat was a mess. Papers and documents covered every inch of the flat, the wall damaged from a certain detective shooting at it, and Sherlock, laying in the whole chaos. Sherlock sits in the middle, eyes closed and ears tentative. He sits in silence but his mind is screaming . Something in the back of his mind tells him he is missing something and should be patient, the other argues for him to continue searching for the criminal. He didn't know whether to admire her grace in the game or to detest her at her violent strategies. A way he would describe her is a chaotic storm. Some fear the booming thunder and the striking lightning, while others see a display of beauty and a fresh start to the world. Giving the plants the water it needs while killing others with its violent dancing lights.

"Sherlock," A small timid voice says, shocking Sherlock awake. He opens his eyes and stares at the intruder, also known as his landlady.

"You have a letter," she says excitedly as she hands him a golden envelope. 'Another, finally,' Sherlock thought as he instantly grabs the letter and tears it in half. He looked like a kid getting a much wanted present on Christmas eve. Mrs Hudson chuckles at Sherlock and leaves his flat, closing the door quietly before making her way to her own.

"Forget about me already, Sherlock? Or did you just give up on finding me? Your track of time is quite slow, but a detective like you couldn't have missed this next clue. You may have realised that this is not a riddle nor is it a poem. But in a way a peace treaty....yet its message only brings choas.  I understand you know nothing about me, yet I know all about you. Now, if you truly are the detective that everyone awes about, then you will be able to track down the address of this letter. Meet me as soon as you solve this. If you don't figure out within 24 hours, I will leave and continue on with my main mission. Leaving you rusting in the shadows while I take matters more seriously.

I'm waiting"

- C. R

With that, Sherlock took off. Knowing from the moment he saw the letter where it was sent from. The place where the worst masterminds were locked away, forgotten, dissapeared. The place where one special Holmes still resides at.
