Or so she thought.

A voice of an Angel rings through the building. An all too familiar voice. She struggles to open her eyes as she sees the one man who she wished hadn't come. Sherlock.

"Leave," she croaks as she rises from the ground. Sherlock emerges from the flames and runs up to her. Only for the ground to crack apart separating the two with a large gap indulged in fire.

"It's too dangerous Sherlock! Leave me!" She cries as the piece she is standing on begins to crumble. The floor they were one was pretty high and the way down was full of flames. The only way to escape is if she jumps over to Sherlock. It was too risky. The weight of two people on what's left of the floor could send the two into their deaths. But if she was to jump and not make it, Sherlock would be forced to watch the love of his life fall into the flames. If she didn't move she would also fall.

There was no way out.

"You have to jump!"

"Leave before it's too late Sherlock! Just leave!"

"Don't you want to go home?" Sherlock asks, tears threatening to slip out of his eyes as his heart clenches at the sight of her.

"I don't have a home," she croaks back.

"Come home with me then. Leave this all behind and come with me."

"Why? Why would you offer something like that?"

"I care about you. More than I have ever have for anybody in my whole life. You're right, it's not that I'm not interested in emotions. It's just that I haven't had a taste of a fraction of what you make me feel. I need you. So please come home with me." He shouts as another explosion explodes in the building.

Max looks around, trying to process the situation and what to do.

"I can't!" She screams, her heart rapidly beating in her chest. Sherlock's heart drops to the pit of his stomach at the sight. The only thing he knew was that he was not going to leave without her.

"Jump! I've got you! Trust me!" He says reaching out with his arms.

"I'm scared!" She admits as she uncontrollably sobs.

"Please" Sherlock croaks one last time.

She looks at Sherlock with despair in her eyes.

"For you, anything"

She jumps.
