Chapter 5 Instrumental Fondness

(Again, I'll give you the name of the song but don't listen to it tell the next note please. The song is Elements by Lindsey Stirling.)

Silver's P.O.V.

After choir I was walking with Amy down the main hallway and I needed to make a quick stop at my locker.

I opened my locker and grabbed out a case for my instrument. I turned to Amy who looked confused.

"What?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"What is that?" She said pointing to my case.

I glanced down and said while smiling, "My violin."

She looked even more confused now, "But I thought our next class was guitar?"

I chuckled and said warmly, "That's what they label it. It means Generic Universal Instruments of Technologically Advanced Range. Us kids just call it instrumental class. Any instrument is welcome."

Her expression brightened, "Yay!! I have so many instruments I could play then!!"

I raised an eyebrow, "What can you play?"

We started walking down the hall again, "I play guitar, cello, flute, and violin!"

I smiled and switched the case to my left hand and put my right arm around Amy, pulling her close. "Well miss talent, feel free to use my violin any time then."

She giggled as we rounded the last corner. We came to a black door that was labeled G.U.I.T.A.R. and walked inside.

Kids were tuning and prepping their instruments. I pulled Amy to a set of chairs in the far right corner of the room where Tails, Sonic, Cream, Vanilla, Espio, etc, were sitting.

We sat down and I laid my case on my lap. I unclipped the small locks on the case and opened the lid revealing a deep crimson red violin.

I carefully lifted it out and tuned it. After I tuned the violin, I gently lifted my bow out and tightened it enough to the proper adjustments.

Amy gasped as she looked at my violin. I chuckled and laid it on her lap.

Her eyes widened as she glanced down and looked back to me.

I chuckled and said, "I wanna hear ya play."

She shook her head and blushed, "What if others watch."

I leaned in and kissed her nose, "Don't be shy."

She giggled and picked up the violin and placed her chin properly on the chin rest. She straightened her posture and held the bow on the strings.

She took a deep breath and started to play. (Please put on Elements by Lindsey Stirling because to know what she's playing you have to listen to it.)

After she started, everyone in the class stopped talking and focused on her. She blushed madly as she played and soon closed her eyes, drowning everyone out.

A smile crept on all of our faces as we listened to the beautiful music. A couple students came to where we were and listened closely. I even saw Shadow, Scourge, Mina, and the rest of their group surrounded us.
