Chapter 7
It's been a very long week with Justin practically glued to my side. I was never allowed to be alone, there was always someone watching me. But there is a good part to this, Mom and Lee come in two days and Justin has to finally go home, but tomorrow I'm being forced to go on a date with Justin. I just need to get the next 48 hours over with and my life might just go back to normal for a while.
I walked to my locker a few minutes before the last bell would ring to find a note taped to it;
Romeo & Juliet Try-Outs Today & Tomorrow after school! Do you have what it takes to be the schools star-crossed lovers? Everyone is welcome. Free refreshments afterwords.
Then in someones messy writing below it read:
I thought you might like this, I still remember how much you were into love stories like this. You'd make an amazing Juliet and I'd love to be your Romeo. I'll see you after school? xoxo Secret Romeo
Chills were sent through my body instantly. ''Wow..'' I breathed, who would've wrote this? All the guys I knew wouldn't mess around with 'Justin's Girl' as they call me. Well whoever put it here I'm glad they did, 1 because I really do love stories like Romeo & Juliet, and 2 I can get away from Justin for an hour or two. ''Thank you Secret Romeo!'' I whispered, shoving my books into my locker then headed to the library to get a copy of Romeo & Juliet.
I just sat down with my book when someone tapped on my shoulder, I turn around to find Brandon looking down at me. ''Justin's looking for you Rose'' ''Well he can keep looking'' I said flipping through the book ''I wouldn''t make him wait much longer if I were you, you know how he gets..'' Oh I know, I know too well. ''Brandon I don't care what he does, I'm not going to look for him. Go tell him where I am if you want but I'm staying here and I'm not going home with him. I need to practice my lines for the play'' I said angrily ''Don't worry I won't rat you out. You're trying out for Juliet, am I right?'' Brandon asked smiling, ''How'd you know?'' I asked. As he walked away he turned to me, smiled and said ''You're one of the prettiest girls in school. You'd make an amazing Juliet. See you later Rose''.
