Chapter 8 

Rose's P.O.V

I felt my cheeks burning; I could tell I was blushing like a tomato. I knew I could trust Brandon,  he'd never tell Justin anything I didn't want him to know. That's one reason I had fallen for him, he's so sweet and caring and cute to. He's an amazing guy and I'll never get a chance with him as long as I'm stuck with Justin! Damn him! There must be a way to get him to want some other girl and leave me alone. I'll have to think of something later because now it's time for the try-outs.

Walking in to the drama room I'm surprised to see the turn out of students; only about a third of the school showed up. My eyes roam around the groups of people and stop when I see someone unexpected; Brandon. Gears start turning in my brain instanly, questions forming. Then I think back to the note from my locker: '' You'd make an amazing Juliet and I'd love to be your Romeo. I'll see you after school? xoxo Secret Romeo '' and I think back to what Brandon said in the library: ''You'd make an amazing Juliet. See you later Rose''. 

Then it hit me! Brandon is my Secret Romeo! My heart felt like it had just ran a marathon, I was so happy. But how did he know that I was into love stories? That's what made me question about him being my Romeo. I guess it could be anyone?

Again my eyes went to scan the room when another pair of eyes met mine, beautiful, firmiliar eyes; Max's eyes.

What was he doing here?! I really don't want to be here anymore, but I really want to try-out for the part of Juliet. You have to suffer for something you want my mom always said. I might as well try.

One hour later many people were made for the smaller parts and the only people left for the part of Romeo or Juliet were me, Max, Brandon and some girl named Kathy; Kathy had been in my school for a year but I'd never noticed her. She was pretty, simple brown eyes, curly red hair, fairly thin and she was a good actress for the part of Juliet (well I thought so).

We were put into pairs, 1 boy and 1 girl practicing lines then switching partners. Of course I was partnered with Max first. Stupid luck.

Max was the first to speak ''Look Rose, I know the other day I was a jerk. I really never meant any of it! I just..'' then I cut in ''Max just leave it, it's in the past. Now lets just practice these lines.''

Max started off ''But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the east and Juliet is the sun! Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,'' He was so talented, the way the words just rolled off his tounge and his actions were so elegant. I gazed at him in wonder and amazment, it felt like forever. ''Rose? It's your turn too say some lines'' he said interupting my thoughts, ''Oh, right... O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet,''

Max's P.O.V

Wow, she's so amazing and beautiful and talented, just wow! But she's Justin's! I can feel the anger burning like a fire within me, I can't let it out on her, not again. I want her to fall for me, to be with me, to be mine and only mine. I'm in love with her!

She had finished her turn in lines, now back to me '' A thousand times the worse, to want thy light. Love goes toward love, as schoolboys from their books, but love from love, toward school with heavy looks.'' 

I might as well have some fun with this. I take both of her hands in mine and stare with passion into her breath-taking eyes and.....
